For a game that was released in 2013 with a budget of $265 million (less than a modern Star Wars film) to generate over 6 billion in revenue (more than double that of the highest grossing film of all time) and still be used as comparison to modern video games is a testament to the skill and passion of the developers at rockstar games

It's always been apparent that Ubisoft values quantity over quality. But you have to admit, they do a pretty good job considering how fast they crank some games out. We'll have 5-10 Ubisoft games between each release of a single Rockstar game. I see that as something to pass the time and wait.

There is another detail I just noticed right now while playing. In Watch Dogs Legion, if you stay in your car and block the road, someone will get mad, pull you out, and push you off the road. Then they might start insulting you or telling you; "What's your problem" or "Get your head out of your ass", etc... lol Also, deflated tires will eventually wear off and tear themselves apart if you keep driving on them until there's just the rim(s) left, and trust me, you will have a rough time driving with that compared to Grand Theft Auto V. On top of that, if you continue to drive like this, the vehicle will eventually catch on fire due to the friction and damage against the road. That is so well detailed!

Let's remember that GTA5 came out *8* years ago! For a game this old, it's still impressive how many details they put into it. They better live up to our expectations with GTA6 (And also release it before I die of old age..).

For the first one irl is somewhere in between the two. When a tyre pops from a burnout it’s usually a catastrophic deterioration and sparks show pretty much immediately. The rubber takes a little longer to all disappear but not long

The day this 6 came out I could not imagine what was there.

In Legion, the reason the cops immediately started attacking you when you got on top of their car is because you committed a crime and were already a “suspect,” as the yelled at you. Normally, they honk their vehicle and get out eventually, but you did not mention this or care to add i in.

One thing to note in Legion is if your character is a Albion officer npcs will surrender if you aim your gun at them Npcs will also taunt you if wearing a Albion uniform in public

The random dude who hopped in the bus was definitely my uncle Bill. Comes running to the rescue even tho nobody called him, then proceeds to crash the bus down some steps.

Despite the lacking of gameplay, I gotta say Ubisoft's engine is pretty great, games like Far Cry 5, AC Valhalla... are really pretty. Old games like AC Unity or Splinter Cell Blacklist are relevant still.

Lets also consider that Ubisoft is more focused on innovation and trying new things in their games, like different mechanics (when they're not to busy getting lawsuits) and generally have a smaller budget than Rockstar. It also doesn't help that the game was in development during a massive worldwide pandemic which has certainly damaged its potential quality. Its honestly impressive that Legion is as popular as it is considering how awful games that it was competing with went. As for GTAV, its impressive both now and then, but my respect goes to Legion- for not only making sure that the game was at least playable at launch, but also generally just making a really interesting game with unique game mechanics.
