I served as an officer in the U.S. Army for 21 years. The Captain Picard character was an inspiration to me. He did what leaders do; he helped people. He was reasonable, measured, conscientious, and he always kept good faith with those who served with him.

I grew up with TNG, and at the time it started I really had some quite serious behavioural issues (partly due to an extremely abusive childhood, combined with being autistic). I think I was really turning into a cruel person. But then Captain Picard gave me the role model I never had in real life, and he, and the show as a whole gave me the solid foundation of ethics and philosophy that let me develop into the person I am today.

Lmao, right!!! Hahaha. I'm in Arizona, there's no way I'm going to be approved to get tested without lying. It's easier to get a loan for a home without a job than it is to get a covid-19 test. Luckily, I'm mostly a hermit and I stay well informed with the actual facts constantly. I'm in the high risk for adverse effects group so I'm being extra vigilant. The idea of self quarantining is a dream come true for me.

Pete is a great talk show host! He actually relates to the guests and he throws in his own stories and memories which is something others don’t. Wow! Mayor Pete did a great job. Very natural, very personable, as I imagined he would be. I love how they did that second "elbump" during the interview. I love how honored and happy Mayor Pete looked when Sir Patrick asked, "May I call you Pete?" That must have been kind of surreal for him. I love that he got that signed picture and script; I'm a little jealous, but it's Mayor Pete, and that makes me happy. What a great guest host he was. I hope he does this again.

@@Salsuero You do realize most actors retire at some point right? Just like any other career. He decided not to after Logan to do the new show so...But I'm glad he didn't cause he's a brilliant actor

@@VicAtNyte Do they? Or are most of them involuntarily retired? It's an interesting question. That still says nothing about "too old" to do it. You think Logan was the last thing he did before reprising Picard? My issue has nothing to do with the fact that actors quit acting whenever they choose to do so. My issue is that you say it as if it's somehow a forgone conclusion that one can actually become "too old" to continue acting.

Elvis Car Reviews Buttigieg is a racist fraud and baby murderer. On his own show he can interview many blacks he wronged ( like SC Rep Ivory Thigpen-- yes Thigpen) and show videos of lots of the slaughters of innocent babies he ( Buttigieg) helped abort.
