My brother bought me this CD for Christmas. Two months later he passed. This song was played on the local radio station for him. Still breaks my heart 35 years later.

Damn I think of my dad and me jamming out to old great rock music. He passed in November of 2023 at 53. I’m 29. I miss him every damn day!! Talked to him everyday.. I miss him always!!!… I just know we are still rocking together till this day!! He was the one who got me into rock music and loving drums at a young age. He was never a drummer. I fell in love with the sound of it and connection within bands sound in my own way. Glad I buried you with my main old drum sticks!.. fuck.. I Miss you dad and love you!!!!

At 52 years old... I am the BEST I have been my whole life! "No bread, no pasta, no Sugar" got me back to where I was in High School (when this song came out)... I'm an "empty nester," now and "Patience" got me here: thru years of marriage I thought would kill me -- into true marital bliss (still with same God-given woman [there's no doubt you're in my heart, now, Kimberly])! The tears, smiles, wind-sprints and the dumbells come so easy, now! Wine flows, songs grow! Patience..Patience..Patience..the rewards are at the end of a long, hard row... I’m a drummer but despite me not getting a single thing that goes on with the guitar here i can still tell that it’s the most beautiful use of acoustic guitar i’ve ever heard and it brings me to tears everytime I did not get to experience this song when it came out as i’m only 16 but i wish so badly that i could’ve been there when this came out
