Here in Arizona, our weather can be easily compared to the drawings of a maniac in a mental institution! From hail to snow! From monsoons to dust storms! Flash floods and dust devils! The whole shebang! We absolutely LOVE it here! :-D

I was in France when it happened and couldn’t figure out what everybody was talking about on the shuttle ride home when I got back. I worked for Allstate as a claims adjuster about a year after this and we were still inspecting roofs for hail damage. At the time, this hail storm in Phx was the single most expensive weather event in history of Allstate.

I also remember the hailstorm we had on Mar 4, 2004, that one was mainly in the east valley, driving down baseline rd in Mesa looked like a winter wonderland the ground was so covered in hail and slush

In major hailstorms you suppose to pull over. Because one hail is coming down and you moving forward can cause relative speed of the hail to increase and cause more damage, lot of ice on the road can be very slippery and visibility is reduced to poor levels.

I remember his storm, I was in class at thunderbird high school. The roof was seriously damaged and classrooms were flooding. The damage to the school was so bad it wasn’t worth repairing it or greenway high school and they ended up rebuilding the schools instead

I had to drive out to Baghdad, AZ that day for work, was supposed to go all the way to Kingman, but the roads up there were so bad, that I got the OK to turn around and come back, pulled back into Phoenix around 5pm to see the aftermath!! it looked like a warzone!

I lived near then. Remember that day all to well. We had baseball size hail at our place! And the ground was totally white with hail. At 2:00 am there where still hail the size of golf balls!

I worked at a rental car place at this time. For about a year, we were working on cars. Some had to be totaled. It missed the airport. Where I was at 40th st and University, I saw this cloud and wondered what the heck is that? Only pea sized fell there.

The big golfball size hail seems to come down around 4:00. But look at this person's windshield crack at :14, then again at 5:29. My fiance & her mom where a few miles ahead of you NIKEAIRJ. Thank God, they got off at Indian School and missed the flooded underpass at Thomas Rd.

This kind of weather is so unusual for Phoenix that if you were doing both the driving and video recording, I must say, you certainly had your wits about you. OMG! This is excellent footage of the storms we had here in Phoenix which actually turned into Tornadoes and hit Belmont just west of Flagstaff, AZ. Now, I can show people how bad it really was. I captured video also but it didn't seem all that bad from my angles which I explained to my viewers but it was really really bad.

This hailstorm was the part of a tornado outbreak in Arizona that spawned 11 tornadoes including an EF3, this was the costliest hailstorm ever. Caused 5.6 Billion dollars in damage. On October 5-6th 2010.

I Still Remember About this crazy as Hail storm while I was Driving back to LA & then at 4:55p.m it came down Deep That shit lasted for cool moment o.O and the Hail was like A size of a Gold Ball & I had A Crack Windshield >.
