if the monitor does not allow anyone but humans to approach the halo rings, why was the covenant fleet able to evade the defences, land on the sacred ring, and desecrate it with their filthy footsteps???

Because the Halo's defenses were deactivated due to the Pillar of Autumn's proximity to it.

NO SPOILERS FOR ANY OTHER HALO GAMES PLS Ty for this video! I had unlocked them all but, took a long while so I didn't really remember the content and wanted to look at it all together with subtitles. :3 Any1 else just not know what the fuck half of the terminals really mean lol? If anyone knows can they explain?

Play halo 4 for some answers. Read some of the novels (idk which) for some other answers. These will not be comprehensive.
