I would listen to a whole audio book with all the actors playing their characters. This was great!

Hearing Keith as the Arbiter again, tears began to fall faster than Reach. And now that he's Commander Zavala, we need to hope that 343 has a plan for Arbiter to appear in a game just one more time. These VA's are old, and we're all aging with them. Doesn't feel like 20 years has passed, yet here we are.

Chief quoting Arbiter in Infinite is so cool

"We all fail. We all make mistakes." That backstory makes the cutscene more cooler.

So the, "We all fail. We all make mistakes.", in Infinite is Chief reciting or applying what Thel had told him. That's awesome.

I know Keith David being present at this event doesn't confirm anything, but I really hope it means the Arbiter might be returning to the game soon. One can dream.

This was absolutely amazing, the writing, having these two actually have a full conversation. The fact that Arbiters words meant so much to Chief that he remembered them to pass on to Fernando. we NEED more campaign stories with these two

It's crazy how a certain voice can take one back to a specific time and place. The advantages of a great VA verses live action actors....they don't age. Their voices sound crisp and fresh as they did 20 years ago. Looking forward to listening to these three amazing voices for many years to come.

Yeah, I had counted them more as allies than true friends from MC's perspective, and then friends for the Arbiter. But I was told that in this book which is not one I've read yet that they finally got to interact. Hearing this is fantastic. The way MC speaks here feels like maybe I was right going into this conversation, but by the end he's starting to truly see Arbiter as a friend. MC's hope as he leaves feels like a hope that they will remain allies and war won't start between them again, and not the expression of full friendship. But the WAY it's written, and the fact that he later goes on to quote the Arbiter in Halo Infinite, I think that this is the start of MC feeling their friendship. This is the true seed and germination of that garden, so to speak. The Arbiter has viewed him as a friend or even brother since Halo 3, though. No question about that. He even says as much in Halo 5 that "in time I even called him friend." I just think it wasn't until this moment that Chief finally calls the Arbiter "friend". What a great scene for them to read on this panel. Great choice, and phenomenal work!

Honestly , at this point . If 343 isn’t given the resources / time / management to put these stories in the games. As sad as that would be. With the story for infinite being supposedly cancelled. I would settle just for audiobooks . The story of this franchise is so right

Imagining Thel and John chatting and eating together and ending the visit with a hug is pretty awesome. Also, the quote in Infinite’s campaign hits way harder now that I know Thel was the one who told Chief about his massive shortcomings and how he was a big reason he had a change of heart. Then Chief was able to use the same words, “We all fail. We all make mistakes…” to encourage Brohammer. Despite its shortcomings in the gameplay department, I think Infinite’s campaign had some great writing. It’s a shame it never went anywhere. I can only hope we get a proper follow up soon

Oh my frickin' goodness! This gave me goosebumps! It's the very first reading I've watched and it gave me a great surge of imagination and bliss as I hear Arbiter & Chief converse!

We need a spin off game for Arbiter like take place after halo 3 and before halo 4

Wow this was simply amazing. I was so sad how Halo Infinite started out with such a gap in between it and Halo 5. I definitely enjoyed listening to each audio log in Infinite but even after there were still a lot of questions and I hope they might do something similar to this in the future for what happens before the banished attacks Infinity.

Always excited to see Keith David! This was neat. Less then we deserve, but more than I would have ever guessed. Excited to read the new book that dropped recently. Not sure if this is from that, or just a short read 343 prepared for the stage

I wish we can play couch co-op campaign in Halo Infinite... it is a buzz kill, me and bros have been dying to play Halo Infinite campaign together but can't. We only have 2 Xboxs between us and 3 of us want to play.

I wonder if the Prometheans and the Created are coming back at some point in the games's story? It's nice to see the continuation of those stories in the books, but they tend to leave out many plot points out of the main games...

for the next campaign can they actually have it take place right after 5? i felt infinite was just too far a jump in the story, i want to actually experience chiefs reunion with arbiter, his first contact with the banished, cortanas rampage across the galaxy, the fall of the unsc, and a big battle between banished, prometheans, unsc, and the swords of sanghelioes. then finale end on cortanas defeat.

It makes so sad o way this franchise has gone . Infinite had so much potential I mean . The campaign even if it wasn’t what they fully imagined . It was great , amazing I will replay just because of how fun it is and how good the story is . Huge accomplishment. They need to revive the story. Everything is there . Multiplayer is in an acceptable state . Please please . Just finish the story you started with the endless it looks so cool

It's funny how they can do this but can't put a decent movie on the big screen...

What could've been for Infinite's story if whiners and suits had let 343 cook instead of rushing them to publish what we have now. The stories they did to build up to their next release and we got a rushed story that left so many things in the air that we'll never see until DLC comes out or we wait till 2031 because of their 10 year plan for the next big installment.

This should've been a motion comic at least, geez guys. You have to do better with giving the lore love *in the game*
