I would probably have a shoelace untied and trip over it walking backwards, knowing my luck, lol

Brett you make it look so easy and still I know it takes talent to pull lines like that... Beautiful Job... Im Very Impressed...

I pinstripe at a few body shops here in Houston, and I get an upclose look at your stripes almost every day, very impressive work! I'm still new to free handing, any tips on brushes I should try?
@Siper211 років тому
Extremely impressive!
@samkarstens11 років тому
Like butter. Im curious about your paint reduction process, flow enhancement, etc. Thank you.
@MAC-ws8fz3 роки тому
Learning how to walk backwards is as necessary and important as the stripe! Still trying to figure out your paint mixture!
@victorgoldwell23308 років тому
you use enamel then clear over? won't enamel just wipe off? i'm obviously new to this very awesome !
@indycheez721410 років тому
What type of paint do you use. One shot? Can you use enamel model paint?
@Jimbo171000Рік тому
What automotive brand of acrylic enamel paint are you using and is it sold in pint or quart cans?

notice how smooth he moves down the car, this guy has ben around the block too many times
@rbnhd114411 років тому
I'm not sure if you are joking or not, to me this is a brilliant method of applying pinstripes..
@brodgers186111 років тому
LOL, I get lucky all the way to the bank. BTW, I move about half speed when doing Rolls.
@dzesikawu76406 років тому
The factory's painter seems to be better at this.
@pradnyeshjori37893 роки тому
This is not by mark court??
@kennethtalbott22333 роки тому
he does all the Rolls from the factory. this dealership is ordering them without and getting them striped locally. to be fair he does a great job too.

Thanks guys, it's been many years of practice. As far as brushes I currently use a selig 00 wooden handle brush which is a knock off of the old grumbacher but don't think they are available anymore due to Sids passing. Luckily I have a few left and will be looking for a new brush in the near future.

Looks like he has a strip of tape for a finger guide.
@cragercrager93774 роки тому
Its a magnet
@brodgers186110 років тому
No, this dude doesn't charge $650 and if you work for $15 they would never let you near one of their cars.
@Villa1252 роки тому
Yeah do it without a magnet guide and then I'll be impressed
@brodgers18612 роки тому
Haha, yeah, that would impress me too.
@aaroncooper6501Рік тому
You really gotta breathe in dudes ear like that when he’s striping? It’s sounds like you ate 6 donuts and ran a mile then pick up the camera and started rolling
@BMH19654 роки тому
The guy at RR does this without the masking tape! Ps. 1M$? Really! Try nearer $300k.
@MAC-ws8fz3 роки тому
For folks like us, 300,000 might as well be a million!
@MAC-ws8fz3 роки тому
Also, I can't remember where I got my "Tape" but it's about 1/2" magnetic roll 20' long. Possibly from Michael's years ago. Expensive but so's masking tape!
@richardm17832 роки тому
You have no idea what your talking about. The guy from RR uses a Stencil. I know...I've been striping for 31 years and repair factory RR stripes every week.

Not that impressive. There are so many reasons why this shouldn't work says my 40 yr experienced brother. Dude got lucky.
@MAC-ws8fz3 роки тому
Cindy, you're wrong and so's your brother. Any body can do fancy designs but any line over two feet is difficult at best.
@CLMCJ553 роки тому
@@MAC-ws8fz Thanks for your feedback. My brother passed almost exactly 3 years ago. He was 9 years my senior; I adored him, he was always right about everything, to me. He was an awesome human being.
@MAC-ws8fz3 роки тому
@@CLMCJ55 Absolutely sorry for the lose.Hope his passing wasn't caused by the paints or solvents, and I hope you are well. He looked like we could have been brothers...at one point, but as I near 80 it's a losing game. I'm now big and fat!
@CLMCJ553 роки тому
@@MAC-ws8fz I'm glad we turned this around...my brother has power still (smile please). Cigarettes, yes solvents, paints, he restored British sports cars & did boat names, made massive signs/billboards & trailer wraps...I'm quite sure you two would have found plenty to talk about, even debates 😊. God bless!
