I remember the time when a reporter asked Floyd Mayweather if Tank was ready to fight Loma at 130 when Tank was blowing up guys and Floyd said no…not the right time. I always admire how non English speaking boxers make an effort to learn the language. It ain’t easy learning a language at any rate. Canelo used to speak broken English, now he’s respectably fluent. Loma can now sit in a face to face with Haney without a translator on deck. I respect it.
