They kept soaking down the interior like this guy, and it would cause major issues in the window switches, and eventually caused severe corrosion in the pins and terminals in dash switches on the Kenworth T680s. Also, on the old style Freightliner Cascadias, they would soak down the steering wheel, and the soapy water would flow down into the horn button and complete the ground and make the horn go off continuously until someone would walk over there and kill the battery cutoff switch.

That's what I was thinking. I cleaned the switches in my work truck just like that and all of a sudden the power mirrors started going crazy. The mechanic replaced the switch and I saw it and the board was all shorted out.
@garyf28712 роки тому
Never spray directly and soak the switches, buttons, etc. Spray the cleaner onto the brush the brush the switches, dashboards, etc. Then wipe off with microfiber towel. Especially with the instrument panel or screens, sometimes seepage will get into the backside of screen and you can't get it out.

Same because the dirt it's still there nothing it's been removed it's only moved to another location in the car... Blowing everything with compressed air it's not sucking away the messy stuff.
@SiegeOnConsole2 роки тому
@@Bsc8 lol, they just do that to get it loosened, they still clean it up. You wouldn’t know because you’ve never had it done

I used to do this for a living, and it's bloody hard graft,I worked for myself for a few years, sometimes 12 hours a day and when you got home you was more than nakerd.. I forgot to say I didn't have all this vansy equipment so it probably would have made my life a little bit easier..

You have a super strong product, I see it always melting away dirt like nothing.

Why so much water on the switches? Won’t that mess them up?

My work truck needs this BAD. I just never have time to do it. I'm lucky to have time to remove all the trash daily and sweep it out once a week or whenever it needs it. Oh and I always carry wipes to wipe down steering, handles, dash, etc. That's the most love that truck has ever seen or ever will. Sigh
@jonpatino66032 роки тому
I detail my own vehicles. I would never hose down those switches like that. But still very satisfieing to watch.
