I knew this all along with our main protaganist doing his thing, but during the tank scene , with his expression in disbelief, we go over to the mustacheod man, and his expression of disbelief just hits so much harder for some reason.

Those men who faced those first tanks would have always rembered it, the same for the brave men inside going into the enemy lines like that, it was a guarenteed death sentence as you would get stuck or resistance would take you out eventually.
