I share my views on dating shows that interests me and I also give updates as relationships progresses. This is an informational video of more updates on the members of the show Love After Divorce aka Divorced Singles Season 4, after the final episode aired on Netflix. There are some fun moments during their interviews and IG Live that I wanted to share in this video. My subtitles may contain mistakes. I did not like Ha-rim since she walked away from a convo with Ricky and went between the convo Dewy and Ji-so. And she claimed that she liked Dewy then not long after she ignored Dewy because she was not feeling well. She turned her back around to Ricky... really not liking her personality and especially a mum of three she should be more considered of other people's feelings. Not just herself.

I wanted Sora for Ricky. And Benita would have been good too! The fact that Hari likes Dewey and told all the girls and then had tea time with Ricky then walked away before it even started is a red flag. Then she went back to Dewey she claimed to like and locked hands with him and then went back to Ricky to confess her feelings!. That is a sign she doesn’t know what she wants. It happened all too fast for someone who just got divorced! I something would happen.

I still think Ricky and Sora would have made a good match but unfortunately it was not for me to choose, also when the heart wants what it wants, not one can stop it.

Me too, Ricky is soft spoken, and Sora seemed like a person who was more willing to listen and meet him halfway. Just from how when Tom said she should put herself into her ex's shoes she didn't act all offended and tried, unlike how when Harim was offended when he asked for them to share housework.

Honestly given both their age, Ricky wanted to settle down and share their lives together. Harim on the other hand, who's in her mid-30s, complained about things not being adventurous enough. You can't constantly be demanding things to be adventurous when you have young kids who needs stability.

What she was looking for was a dating partner to have fun with, which is understandable. What she was NOT looking for is a life partner because there is no way you can have both in one person and raise young children together. Couples who did have that dating experience with each other first and then married and then had children have a hard enough time having fun and enjoying dates together, so to expect both in one person is just not realistic. I think she is not looking for what he is looking for at this point.

Realistically, Harim is never going to find another man that would be willing to raise 3 kids all under 10 years old that are not his. No man would want that. She should've just been great full that Ricky still wanted her after knowing that. Harim is a fool.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I would marry him myself if I were younger! You just don't get that level of caregiving and responsibility-taking in a man towards children in general, let alone those who are not his own in that kind of intense situation. It is mind-blowing that, from one of her comments, it appears she thought she may find someone better in the future. I get that she thought maybe it's best to wait until the children are older, because the biggest casualties in this situation are the children who clearly bonded with him. That is really confusing and hard on them.

Of course they will break up, it was so obvious! Harim wanted an escape and and a distraction, meanwhile Ricky wanted to just make things work sacrificing himself in the process which is still also toxic

Yes, it was one-sided in that way. He is naturally giving and caring, consistent and responsible. GREAT husband and father material, but not gonna be the life of the party as Harim seemd to need. Nobody is to blame, they just aren't on the same page.

Ricky is better off because he is a caregiver and she would just suck the life out of him. She’s very demanding and needy. Ricky deserves better. A nicer more caring person.

Bro, Ricky is amazing, but you do realize Harim has 3 kids right? She’s not being demanding or needy. She has a family that keeps top priority. Why do you think the single couples working?

@@hs82bc83 her kids are not the problem. Ricky bonded with them very well. But that meant nothing to Harim. She wants romance and the focus on her. Which is going to be difficult when she has small kids. The way she chucked Ricky off when her kids seems to like him alot is kind of sad. It doesn’t matter that they might be hurt by having this nice guy giving them much needed attention while she works. She didn’t even seem bothered by how her kids might take it. All because Ricky didn’t meet HER needs. Let her try to find romance with a man who will accept her kids too. She seems to think she can have it all. Maybe she will. But with her touchy personality the kids will not be the problem with her having a relationship.

Personally she should lay aside what her needs are she has three vulnerable children that she should be concentrating on, at least until the baby is much older. I think Ricky is a wonderful man and I question whether someone with three small children should be on the show. It was obvious that the two older children thought the world of Ricky...how many more times will the children be let down. She should concentrate on her children needs first..that is what parenting is about.

@@irenecase7786 I thought the same. Introducing men into her fragmented family who come and then go would be hard on the kids. Her abject rejectation of Ricky when the older two clearly clung to him is sad. She didn’t even seem to take that into consideration when she rejected him so coldly. She knew he’d spent weeks helping her with the kids and they really liked him.

The reality and what he clearly saw was too much for her to bear. She wants romance and flowers and candlelight. Minus the kids, of course.

Yup. Me too! She was too desperate. The way she played Dewey and just clung to Ricky. I knew it would not work. Harim needs to be alone. Harim needs to be alone. When her daughter gave her the flowers and said I want you to be happy broke my heart. That little girl is used to seeing her mommy crying and sad. Also, the way she ran towards Ricky was odd. After a week. Nope. Too much too soon.

I don't think Harim necessarily used Ricky for sympathy or popularity cause her views on relationships differ from Ricky's. She wanted a romantic relationship where she could feel attractive and have fun despite being a mother of 3 children, whereas he wanted to be a good husband and father figure to her children. She was worried about losing that romantic spark once he took his role seriously.

But that's inevitable to a certain degree...You'll trade the beginning's spark for some routine, especially with 3-4 kids...Good luck to her for finding a man that will accept her 3 kids.

Her view is a bit childish. With her mindset, she can only find a temporary guy here and there. However, I guess she will realise later how loyalty and commitment are above romantic sparks.

Being a mother of three and still wanting to date and pretend you are just starting out shows how out-of-touch she is with reality. Sounds like she did the same thing to her husband in their marriage. I find it interesting that after she was talking about moving to LA before she broke up with Ricki now she’s in a brand new upgraded apartment. You think she’s paying for that with her job? I doubt it. It looks like the husband and his family kicked in for better digs so she wouldn’t leave. And doesn’t she look thrilled to live in a manner that suits her ego. Try using some of that on a nanny who can watch your kids instead of having them trying to get your attention as you work from home. You’re never going to find a guy as accommodating of your mood swings as Ricky.

@@aquastar7990 I mean it's how she thinks and not necessarily the best idea but not everyone makes wise decisions. What we can do is respect them for who they are. At least she is true to herself.

After watching the season sorry but I think it's just that it is too difficult to handle three kids with such small differences it shows very clearly that Ricky has to see things will be different when you don't have children but with children, we have to consider. They both understand that it was exhausting, so they quit.

Oh my god 08:37 is the first time I've heard Ji-Su speak English. If I close my eyes she is a typical Valley girl - she sounds SO American (not unexpected but a surprise because it's my first time hearing her lol). She is a proud Korean, didn't anglicise her name, doesn't want to be referred to by an anglicised name; I like that a lot. I love the whole cast, they are just wonderful - I truly wish them all the very best in their lives forever.

It’s very disappointing that Harim ruined it for Ricky. He could’ve gotten the chance to get to know Sora and Jisu more. I think Ricky would’ve worked out with Jisu. Disappointed.

They split when the babies were not even 1 year old - something terribly wrong there and it is not one-sided (which is what he asked Sora to explore on their 1-on-1 date: what part did you play in the abusive relationship's demise?).

I didn't like Ha Rim from her pushiness with Ricky and literally getting in between Ricky/Benita in the kitchen. Also how she blatantly said "I'm gonna gooooo" to Ricky out on the Patio. It just seems like she's emotionally immature and self centered. I know she's had a hard past but that's no excuse to be rude. Ricky can do much, much better.

What happened is that the narcissism and ego Harim clearly displays was wounded by Ricky seeing the reality of her drab life. She wants to be the center of attention. Ricky was focussed on making a family unit and helping her. I think her pride was too wounded to accept it with graciousness and gratitude. Instead she meanly told him her heart wasn’t ‘fluttering” when with him. How old are you, Girl! That was the death knell for the relationship. Like her ex had to let her go because SHE needed to live. It’s ALL about Harim, ALL the time.
