Agreed with every single of your word. Surprisingly, Idle is Cube's first girlgroup that are well-received by korean general public. Cube has the pattern where their boygroups are more loved by Koreans(such as Beast & BTOB) and their girlgroups are more loved by international fans(such as 4Minute & CLC). Normally, groups that have decent Korean fanbase will do really well based on Cube history. Idle is well-loved by both Korean and international fans. So that makes them even more valuable as Cube asset.

But are they REALLY a big asset dollar-wise? They only release mini albums or just singles that can’t be priced as much as, say, a full album. This isn’t “hate” or “shade”! I love G-idle! I just don’t understand how the money works with a group like them. How are they being paid decently and still having living arrangements as well as Cube getting their sizable cut? I just fear for the girls to end up with nothing or little to show for their work and sacrifices.🤔💪🏻🤘🏻

@@bigbrutalbassbeer410 you can go and see their album sales. The 2 most recent ones all sold 100k+, they are physical albums mind you. If it doesn't bring dollars then what will? Last year they have been very busy esp YQ. I'm pretty sure she had a sizeable TF for those shows she appeared on. They recently held an online concert too which for sure generated money, oh and they just had their official merchs such that of neviebong which again generates money. They have been promoting in japan too which ALSO generates money. I can go on forever with such things. And Cube's stock/profit was raised by a few hundreds of percent due to (G)i-dle, there's even an article for that.

Asraffy Lago Yah, I didn’t even think of stuff like stocks and endorsements. I just want for them to each be prosperous and financially well off. I’ve read enough about idols abruptly leaving the business because they were just sick of working their asses off for nothing and bring broke all the time.
