But if the tide changes and starts running out and the seas start standing up, if you’re outside trying to get back in you’re going to find yourself in a hairy situation. It’s not so much the length of the boat that would be the problem, it’s the lack of freeboard. The flat bottom on that tracker would beat the piss out of you anyway. Could you take it out there? Yes. But you really wouldn’t want to.

about 200 gallons EACH. my little 22ft boat holds 50 gallons that will last me two days

If I remember the rule of thumb correctly, 1/10 total horsepower= gallons of fuel burned per hour at full throttle. Twin 750hp engines burn 150 gal/hr. If you can afford the boat, you probably don't care much about the fuel bill. But for the rest of us...ouch!

It deoends on many factors besides simply making it happen. I sacrafice staying in my home town vs going where my skills will prosper. I dothat for a couple reasons. 1. Family 2. I dont want to leave Id rather take a loss in money and life of career to be around the people i get most enjoyment out of. Life is too short, and ive done had my close call with death to choose 1 over the other.

EVERY TIME I've met flashy, show off types of people I've not liked them. Flashy to me means douche. Modest and humble are the good people. You won't change my mind about this. If having a chip on my shoulder means that I don't like flashy douchebags and show-off types of people, then yes.....I have a chip on my shoulder. But I certainly don't hate them for having money. This isn't what makes you a douche - it's the flashing of possessions (like loud, flashy oversized boats, for one) that makes you a douche. Is this clear enough? SpatialGuy I’ve been around these boats for years genius. You’d be surprised how many idiots are throwing tails while racing. Believe me... half of them aren’t on purpose.
