@@speakingtruths4215 Not getting married would have solved his mental issues in his game from 2010-2012 ish but most of this last decade, it was Tiger's body that couldn't handle it and that had nothing to do with being married. His issues stemmed from the example his father set while growing up. Tiger was not mentally prepped for good decision making and so he had the wrong people around him in his early 20s when nothing but temptation existed for him. And then I assume we'll see in part 2 that Tiger losing his dad made him want to learn more about military ops and that + his addiction to the gym ruined his body.

Although I'm extremely impressed with Tiger's extraordinary talent in golf and his amazing achievements, I'm even more impressed with his mental strength and resiliency. After a public scandal like he went through most people would have wilted. However, Tiger not only came back from that crazy scandal but even more epic is he came back from multiple back surgeries including spinal fusion surgery and won the Masters at 43 years old!

I’ll admit I’m a complete newbie to the sport but since taking the time to learn the finer details of the history of the sport I found it inevitable that Tigers name would appear in everything I read and watched . I’m now following his life and just finished watching this documentary and omfg I’m mesmerised by the guy . There’s something so special about him / there’s a presence he gives off when you watch him eye down his shot after hitting from the tee . He’s very very special not only as a golfer but as a character too . Flawed ?? yes but it’s hard not to admire his story so far from the rise to the fall to the comeback of the one they all said would never win a major again . I was disappointed his time at Augusta was cut short but I’m hoping that with this surgery he’ll get another run for a major and I can follow him upon his return . My love for golf has truly been intensified times 100 after educating myself on Tiger .

Not sure why tiger’s agent hates the documentary, but I think it was great. I was never a huge tiger fan before, never knew all the scandal details, and yes he hurt a lot of people and it shows that he himself went through great self inflicted suffering. but in the end it tells the story of a human being that has overcome remarkable obstacles, depression , and life pitfalls. People need to resize he’s not some demigod, but just another guy, capable of sin, but deserving of forgiveness like anyone else. If anything, I’m more of a fan now than I ever was. What a remarkable win in 2019 he had given everything he’s gone through. Best wishes to tiger going forward.

The reason why the comment was made, is because golf is played globally, and it was also a “white people” sport.... tiger really did unify a huge group of people. That’s not an exaggeration.

I think pressure and fame got a toll on tiger and decided to go and try navy seals just like what MJ did he went to go and try baseball. their mental resiliency is on a next level, their desire to overcome the struggles is impeccable. Im so excited to watch this documentary
