We have different version of Notre Dame March in Philippines but same tune... Im proud ND grad! Highschool and University NOTRE DAME MARCHING HYMN We stand today for our Notre Dame Loyal and true will always remain And as the years go passing by We'll keep high our banner in the sky We'll work for God and our Philippines Proud of our flag and all that it means And always love the glorious name Of our country and Notre Dame Hail hail to our Notre Dame Open your heart and praise be her name And as the clouds come rolling by We know that a smile can keep as high We'll fight our best to win overall Trying to lead in big things and small Win or lose we'll hold your name With honor to Notre Dame

I went to high school in Colorado. At every football game a song was screamed and it was to the melody of this song. Beer, beer for Manitou High, You bring the whisky, I'll bring the rye, Send the freshmen out for gin, Don't let a sober sophomore in, Juniors never stagger, Seniors never fall, We'll sober up on wood alcohol, While our loyal faculty lies Drunk on the ballroom floor. More beer!!! That was in the 70s and I still remember every word. I have no idea how that started.

Such a great tradition the band marching across campus into the football stadium. I was able to attend a couple of games in the early 2000's when my daughter was going to school, ND has many great traditions, Go Irish.

I'm a lead bass drum for my marching band and we think 3 trumpets was enough but omg they have around 30. Rest in peace ear drums 2005 to 2019

The band starts their March to Notre Dame Stadium after their concert at the steps of the Golden Dome. They start with about 10-15 seconds of drums then play the Victory March, after about a minute to a minute thirty after drums they play When the Irish Backs go Marching By then back to the victory March before arriving at the stadium and basically transformed into a drum line with chants.
