She may not be The Beatles, but, "Hey Jude" was repetitive & not even musically interesting. Not every Beatles hit was of the same calibre as "Norwegian Wood" or "Something". They became famous because of teen girls screaming at their concerts, not because of old hippies remembering them. Their music has staying power, but when was the last time you heard them on the radio, even on an oldies station? It's too early to tell what legacy Swift will have. So you are comparing 2 musical talents at different times in their career trajectory.
