Heads up, ignore the 3rd pvp god roll suggestion. Precision instrument settings were not correct, and heal kill / kill clip will still be the best roll for average to high skill players. Precision is still the best choice for lower skill players as it’ll help your crits needed in a ton of situations!

Dude I just got finished farming master lost sectors for these and now you're making me feel like doing it again. I hope you're happy you lovely enabler you. 11:05 On lightweight Sidearms going above 40 Range is worthless and a poor optimization of stats because at 42 range you'll hit targets at 15.30m with 62 range which is the max possible on Helio you're hitting at 16.80m. The juice ain't worth the squeeze when these puppies kick like a mule. Investing in Stability is a better bet with a good focus on some range so you get better control, which is more important than range as these aren't Handcannons.

Banger vid my dude. Loved Anonymous Autumn (never got my god roll, but the one I used did have Rangfinder-KC on it). Settled on Rangefinder roll for the Farewell too, but took note of your shoutout when Xur/Banshee was selling the Moving Target-MultiKC roll and been using that since. Got a Perp Motion-AJ Helio and loved it, collected a few other rolls too and it's tough to say which I like most.

I’m glad you mentioned the recoil/zoom of this weapon. I have multiple god rolls of this, but I don’t like using it in PVP for that reason.

the random incan heal clip heliocentric I got not even knowing it was hype and falling in love with it carrying me through most of the stuff I've been doing.

Just went flawless with the prophet adept keep away/kill clip and a heliocentric heal clip/kill clip. Sometimes not having that clutch special ammo can be felt pretty hard, but its generally so powerful its crazy

Prior to the sandbox change I have a heliocentric with PM + KC and racked up 600+ kills in it. Now I'm working with HC + KC and god I can't be happier. Looking to refine the roll with better mag and barrel perks when I can farm, but I love this sidearm so much.

I actually used the pve godroll (healing clip + incandecent) in iron banner yesterday and went compkelely berserk! Paired it with the Mida scout on my solar warlock

I got a demolitionist and incandescent roll for pve. I absolutely love it. I also have a heal clip and precision instrument as well.

I like the incandescent heal clip one, as they soften allot to be picked afterwards, for the heal clip.

I actually look forward to the long videos. When I saw it was 17 minutes, I grabbed some food and a drink to watch Destiny's best weapon deep diver.

I first got my roll when season of the wiych came out, it was a pve roll of heal clip and incandescent, i just held onto to it and figured it will be good one day. Then i landed a precision instrument and enlightened roll, oh man did i just love it when i first used it in crucble. After that i grinded for it. Thankfully, this season i got a kill & heal clip roll with max range. However, my golden child is heal clip amd precision instrument.

I had a blast in a legendary lost sector using the heal clip incandescent roll! I paired it with riptide, apex predator, & assassin's cowl on my Solar Hunter! :D

Heal clip and incandescent with embers of benevolence when playing with other people. Demolitionist and incandescent when going solo. It absolutely slaughters. Especially this season with all the solar buffs, and the anti barrier is amazing for anything with a shield.

When it came to lightweight sidearm my personal favorite was the keening I had a ranged roll with subsitants and snapshot then this heliocentric with all range and heals and kills and it came from a red bar in terminal overload about 3 weeks ago and I haven't done a terminal overload since 😂

The Autumn was my favorite. The very first helio I had drop had rangefinder and kill clip with a range masterwork. I hardly ever take it off. Over 2000 crucible kills with it. Only had 3 others drop, but nothing with rolls better than that first one. I love sidearms. So much more fun and satisfying to use than shotguns imo.

The production quality of these videos is amazing

I got one early in the season with corkscrew, accuriesed, demo, AJ, with a reload MW and it is a beast in both PVE and PVP. Good ability regen and kill chaining with AJ. Has become on of my favorites to pull out this season, but I do worry about its usability after the artifact perks go away.

Easy recoil, boosts mobility, offers heal clip and incandescent, kill clip too, quick swap potential, no need for counter balance as its so close, yeah.

Have several different God Rolls on this sidearm. I never liked sidearms, legendary & exotic, at all. Then I got this. Love it

The helio reminds me of havoc pigeon. An Heal + Kill Clip is phenomenal.

I’ve got one with arrowhead break, accurized, rangefinder, precision instrument; and a range masterwork. I’ve only pulled it out as a PVE weapon for barrier champs. Will check it out in PVP and see how it treats me.

I had a drop with Solar Damage Incandescent and perpetual motion and I love it!

For you dawn chorus warlocks out there get a demolitionist/incandescent roll and abuse fusion grenade heat rises/phoenix dive with ember of empyrean, ashes, searing, and singeing to basically have some juicy ability uptime and perma resX2 in onslaught

i run range mw, full bore, appended mag, range finder, precision instrument. and it is amazing. Slays for me in trials. the appended + backup mag gets to 20 rounds and makes double kills in trials happen often for me

Been using HC PI for most of the season and it's pretty cracked. Made me put down the ol' Drang.

Helio is so freaking good! I managed to get a 3/5 -- Heal Clip/Kill Clip/Accurized, but reload instead of range MW -- that is amazing. Got the same but with stability MW and find the reload is better since the thing feels like a laser regardless of the stability bump and the reload speed with HC/KC has won me several probably undeserved 2-on-1 and 3-on-1 that I, a mediocre pvp player at best, wouldn't have been able to pull off. Still farming for a range MW version but no such luck (not even close after several hours the other day on Drowned Wishes, lol). I might try a Precision Instrument on your recommendation, thank you. Very good video. It’s friendly and open minded to the weapon being good whether it is meta or not. I run Redback with Bite of the Fox and was after a new sidearm to pair with it for PvP and Helio has become my favourite pick. It has demo and adrenaline junkie or even incandescent if you want more PvP usage. Helio has quickly rekindled my love for sidearms which waned as I became an auto rifle fan for the better part of Lightfall. My only feedback is reigning back supporting range increasing picks in rolls for PvE. More often than not, range will be negligible in PvE. Having thousands of hours in the game and understanding the psychology of picking weapon rolls, partly thanks to Aegis’ video on the subject “What is an Endgame Godroll?”, I can confidently say an extra half a mater is not gonna do much while handling will make a difference for how fast you can get the gun out and actually start shooting or reload to make sure you are always firing. Stability would be there too but the discrepancy between headshot and body shot damage like you said is minimal and so stability is lesser priority compared to weapons with higher recoil or weapons that operate at far ranges.

I've had one... it has Smallbore, Flared magwell, Heal Clip and Frenzy! There's also that Titan Helm Precious Scars!! I'm a mostly pure pve player.. who is smashing my head agaist a wall trying to get the Summons with Heal Slip and Onslaught...

I have one with incandescent and Heal Clip, my favorite PvE sidearm period.

I got two: heal clip with incandescent for PvE and Moving Target Kill Clip for PvP (esp. trials). Gotta farm an heal clip kill clip roll tough, that one eludes me so far. I love them, especially on radiant hunter in PvP. Happy Easter everyone!

Have a Demo/Junkie roll I have on a OsiStasis build about Grenade spam and Ager's sceptre abuse(Which together become 'chain-shatter the room') handles Barriers nicely and is just strong and reliable, yaknow, what you want from a primary, and that perk Combo while kinda mid normally is amazing on any grenade spam build.

Heal clip/frenzy on Helio has absolutely CARRIED me in solo dungeons.

I definitely want a heal clip incandescent roll for PvE. But for PvP my mediocre roll of swift Verdict just feels good to me. I swear it has some kind of secret sauce that makes it feel amazing.

I have this in incandescent and demo on grenade builds for PVE and it’s nice

I got mine a little over month ago with Heal clip/Kill clip. It is literally my favorite side of all time next to D1’s Iron Wreath. I got over 1100 kills on it.

I was lucky enough to get an enlightened action-kill clip roll at the end of the last season. It became an instant favorite for me. Since then I have grinded lost sectors for over 40 rolls, but I haven't managed to get heal clip-precision instrument that I really wanted. I'm still suoer happy with a high range heal+kill clip roll though.

I've put about 10k PVE kills on a few diff heal clip rolls over the past few months, incandescent is an amazing pairing w/ solar subclasses, especially with the current seasonal mods!

My personal god roll is demo and incandescent and it's been awesome I'll definitely love to get a heal clip kill clip roll to try it out

That is so weird, I saw that Farewell roll and was like... that looks familiar... Turns out the only roll I have is the exact roll that you showed, same barrels, mag perks, masterwork, everything. Freaky!

I had my very first one drop, randomly, with HC/KC. It was towards the start of the season, so nobody even knew that it was any good. I just kept it because it was unique at the time 😅

THANK YOU for talking about sub-optimal TTKs. Too many people gloss over how relevant a speedy non-100%-crit kill combo can be in their everyday duels. I feel like people worship Adaptives because of the fast TTK on paper, but rarely do they ever hit that TTK in practice, and they are punished badly by misses. I am absolutely in love with my Redback-5SI. The cleanest Lightweight sight with no obstructions, all Range perks, Perpetual Motion, and Rampage. I used to feel so sad about having Rampage because I felt it made no difference, but now the forgiveness it adds to that 0.67s TTK is kind of nutty!

I’ve been using full bore, steady rounds, heal clip, precision instrument range mstrwrk I think it’s perfect because I get chaining potential and heals. Steady rounds makes it easier to hit heads plus I get AE

Really curious to know if helio will still be obtainable after final shape release..

I find if you have too much vertical recoil, changing your FOV a small amount sometimes helps mitigate that

I got the kill clip heal clip roll and it shreds I’ve won multiple 1v2s in trails with it

I got one with a mix of range and stability with healclip and killclip/incandescent. I literally use it for everything

I have a few. My fave has demo and incan, and another with heal and kill.
