I feel like not enough people are realizing how hard this very episode was for Blitz too. 11:21 He stepped up for Moxxie and Millie but not one of the three actually tried to defend him. Fizz instigates and Verosika jumps in with a pitchfork. M&M was speechless/quiet, Blitz felt like Stolas was ashamed to be seen with him--which makes Blitz feel even more undeserving of affection, and add to that, maybe, the guilt of inviting Stolas there only to be publicly shamed along with him.

I like how at the beginning Blitzo stalking Moxxie and Millie is just a running gag about coworkers not respecting your privacy but evolves into this deep narrative about Blitzos own desire for a healthy loving relationship like they have.

The ending made me cry, this was so sad, poor Blitz just wants the same love that Moxie and Millie has..

I love everything about this episode, Moxxie and Millie relationship, Millie being a badass, Asmodeus and Fizzy leving out small hints of their relationship, Stolas feeling happy for once, even if it was not what he expected and ended up bad. Even Verosika addition was excellent. Hell even Blitz remembered to tell Asmodeus and Fizzy they are hypocrites (on the Mammon episode) because of what they did to Moxxie and Millie here.

Stolas never had a date with someone he likes, that explains everything about his nervous attitude. Also, it's like Fizz says later "no one puts that much effort for a cheap fuck", a fancy rich guy who can make portals go anywhere endures a ride on a dirty van where he barely fits.... It's quite obvious he's sincere, but I understand Blitzø, Sotlas has made derogatory comments about imps and he's super condescending in his way of talking to him. Both are too immerse in their own feelings here, they need to put themselves into each other shoes, which seems it's already happening with Stolas in Just Look My Way. Now they need to communicate openly what they're thinking. I'm also confused with some comments from fans who consider the romantic story as loosing track of the original plot... I mean, since chapter 2 Stolas start to develop his story and all his interactions with Blitzø are consistent with what happens later. This always was the main love story.

I feel like Blitzø is obsessed with Millie and Moxxie because he envies their relationship and wants what they have. He wants to imagine himself with a relationship like theirs

hi, i don’t know if anyone will care but i’ll say it anyway. in august 2023 i was really bad because of a situation that i had with someone i liked. that month was really hard for me, hard to the point where i stopped eating for several days and had a big weight on my chest during each. i couldn’t sleep correctly either. the situation i was in reminded me of the one that blitzø and stolas were in, and i remembered that the soundtrack at the end of episode 7 was really catchy, really calm and nice to hear. so every night that i couldn’t sleep i used to put this soundtrack just to fall asleep. it really helped. and now that i listen to it again, im kinda happy this was here, it really helped. i don’t know who i need to thank so i’ll just thank Vivienne Medrano and SpindleHorse. thanks for creating this soundtrack that helped me through so much and thanks for making me feel better, even for a little amount of time. Helluva Boss will always have a big place in my heart. i love you all ❤

It’s good to see more development on Stolas, since he’s starting to realise how broken their “relationship” is

I feel that many people, while they say that it is heartbreaking to see all this happening, as someone who aspires to be a storywriter myself, it doesn't take that much foresight and intellect to see that Viv and the crew will inevitably have things work out for Blitzo and Stolas because they set this episode up the way they did. They made it specifically that Moxxie and Millie had an outing to this place where they introduced Asmodeus, both as a character and as a plot device to hint at the conflict of the relationship of Blitzo and Stolas coming to a head. And using retrospective knowledge, knowing that Asmodeus has the legal authority and ability to travel to and from the living world, it's very easy to see that either A, Viv and the crew (I don't know the other people's names I'm sorry for any perceived disrespect) have Blitzo and Stolas eventually work out their issues and become a couple akin to how Moxxie and Millie are, or B, they'll have the conflict only deepen and as a result, have a somewhat perfect mirroring of Blitzo and Stolas, and Ozzie and Fizz, because using details picked up from each of the scenes, Fizzaroli and Blitzo, from my observations of having rewatched the show 26 times and counting, seem to always mirror one another. Starting from the Circus Fire, Fizzaroli was more badly wounded than Blitzo, but in the end, Fizz was more successful, and Blitzo has to work harder than Fizz does, Fizz has a better relationship with Asmodeus than Blitzo does with Stolas, regardless of the fact that both Fizz and Ozzie are thirsty, lustful demons while Blitzo and Stolas, both of them being Thirsty and Lustful demons, their relationship as of late is *only* the sexual encounters that they have, and as a result, you have a near perfect mirror between these two couples. While the other option, very easily accessible, it also just goes to show that the Pareto Principle, no matter the medium, no matter the type, the Pareto Principle basically dominates anything and everything, even when it comes to storytelling, because 20% of your story has caught the attention of the views, but nearly 80% of it is seen by the loyal viewers.

Did no one notice how when Stolas looked at Stella, his eyes were normal.. but when he saw Octavia his pupils showed. It’s great detail. Monarchy is weird, he wasn’t in love with a demon who speaks royalty, but still adores his daughter more than anything. He realized what love is, even though Blitz is an Imp. I see he still feels guilty for the affair, but I know it’s.. way more complicated than that.

The bit at the end with blitz on his phone is so sad and lorefull I watched it multiple times

As much as it hurts, I really like how Stolas handled that conversation in the car. Understanding when it's best to give a person space and let them work things out on their own is difficult, but a simple 'Okay' and a step back was the right thing to do. The realism in the way these characters act is what keeps me coming back to this show.

When Blitzø asked Stolas about how fast he could get down to Lust, I was half expecting the camera to pan just a bit to the side to reveal Stolas standing right next to him, a trail of flames behind him.

I just noticed in Blitzø's house. His face is marked out on a lot of the photos which makes me believe he is self-conscious about himself or under values his life alone because he hasn't been able to find a healthy relationship like Moxxie and millie have which was the reason why he adopted Luna to possible try to share his love to her as a parent but she really doesn't take it granted a lot.

Is anyone gonna mention how Blitz's apartment is full of group photos where he scratched his own face out with black ink? he is definitely looking for connection but doesn't feel worthy of it. I love this character, he has so much interiority and I can't wait for the show to get deeper into his story.

My heart absolutely breaks every time I watch this for poor stolas. I get Blitzø struggles with his emotions, but my god stolas is trying so hard to connect

This episode in particular made my heart ache, seeing Stolas trying to have a normal conversation with Blitz and constantly having a "Tic" whenever he answered too blunty it made me go back to my past relationship where I used to ask him how was his day only to get a short "good" So I can relate how Stolas might have felt :"(

I love Stolas as a character. His flaws are spot on. He is a terrifying entity, yet is so vulnerable, its difficult not to pity him.

I wasn’t expecting this. I thought Stolas was going to get mad at Blitzo for taking him just to spy on Moxie and Millie, but he just wanted to make sure Blitz was ok and had a good time. I loved it and that was a great subversion of my expectations!

I feel like Blitzø really hates himself since the incident at the circus and feels unworthy of love, like on 15:15 you can see the pictures on the wall are only of his friends/daughter and when his face appears there's scribbling hiding it as if he hates seeing his face happy or with people who actually love him :(

The way Blitzo hurt himself by watching Millie and Moxie is painfully relatable. He wanted to be a part of their loving and healthy relationship, but ended up reminding himself how shitty his love life is.

Everyone’s talking about how depressing this episode was for everyone but Blitzø has to sit on 4 books to see over the table

I have a personal theory that Moxxie is MUCH more capable than he lets on not just because he has unlocked potential (obviously) but I think there is a thing where he acts weak since Millie might enjoy being the strong one but when it really comes down to it Moxxie is the strong one. Like think about it why when Asmodius yelled at Moxxie and Millie did Millie jump into Moxxies arms while Moxxie stood a bit more firm. I think because there wasn’t a second to kind of be like (okay let me step down and let her be strong) And I think there might even be a conflict at some point where Moxxie is forced to use his real strength and Millie is saddened by the reality of how he’s been limiting himself for her.

Brandon’s acting when Blitzø is dropping off Stolas is so good, he may not often show it but he’s an amazing actor Edit: what I mean by “not often show it” is that he often doesn’t do serious acting, I do think he is great at comedy acting as well!

I finally realized why Blitzø spies on Moxxie and Millie... he wants the same kind of healthy, loving, stable relationship that they have.
