Hoppers don’t aim upward so the floor is already out of the question. It wouldn’t work well on the ceiling because redstone takes up an extra 3 or 4 blocks between rows. I think double horizontal barrels would be better

@@jared4575 but at that point that's just a double chest and there wouldn't be any differentiation, storage does need differentiations and trade offs, Rek's approach of double vertical barrels would be far more interesting

@@jared4575 not the current ones.. but its not hard to imagine a system that uses up facing dispencers, if the item does not fit, it'll be shot out and caught by hopppers.. there's a few issues but nothing unfixable..
