YEAH! HOW MUCH! this totally changed the look for the better, love it.

although this and many other container homes out there being offered from china, all looks great and all, unfortunately, they do not meet u.s. or many westerners countries municipality codes. most western countries requires building permit and the process is pretty long. they need to see planning, foundation set up and cured. framing, electrical, plumbing etc. each steps requires city code inspectors to come out to ensure that the build is within code requirements. its very time consuming if you ask me. without those, you wont be able to proceed to the next steps. so if this is a complete plug and play installation, chances are, it will not get approved for either ADU or a small single family residence. that means, you will not be able to sell or no bank/lenders will finance these homes when its time to sell the house. without permitted transactions, chances are, its deemed useless. if you decides to build without permit, and if you get caught, they will probably ask you to tear them down or will need to re construct from scratch so it can be permitted. the only place these would be ideal, would be somewhere remote area or third world countries where zoning and codes arent enforce at all. i don't know a way around that, unfortunately.
