Balance means dividend stocks maybe 40 stock 60 fixed income. Companies will need to start paying real dividend rates. I want to sleep at night. Heck, Ford value barely changes but pays close to 5% dividend. Vanguard projects 10 year return of stocks domestic 5% to 6%. You cannot pay any investment fees or you will be better off in a Bank CD.
