Jota fidnt had a great performence, except the goal. Salah was terrible he tried to dribble past the defence everytime he got the ball and lost it every time. Firmino was incredible.His pressing was on point.

I actually tipped Jota to score more prem league goals than Salah pre-season. He’s almost one of a very few actual strikers per-say who’s redefined the old proverbial “fox in the box” role. Like an old style forward which most managers have abandoned adopting the false number 9 & or 10 playing 4-3-3. We don’t call him the “slota” for nothing eh ? What is more impressive is both Klopp’s & FSG’s transfer policy in exercising their ability to find such players in the transfer window, literally identifying the value & sustainability in a Jota, a Salah, Mane & a Diaz & seeing something in a player that others, respectively don’t see. The rest ? Well.. that’s down to Klopp’s magic integrating something new & unique into his philosophy & ethos.

Performance doesn't matter any more, we need to keep grinding results even with average performances, history must have taught lfc a huge lesson abt that.

At this stage I think they're being instructed to kind of slow down to save energy I guess. No point going gung-ho from minute 1 if we're getting the end-result. This is the first time under Klopp we've been in all comp, if he doesn't steady the squad specially with our playing style, the players are going to burn out. Definitely can't have this kind of performance against City though.
