I mean if it's excessive then it can be immature because it shows total lack of inhibition. Also, you don't want kids picking up language like that at an early age, because it reflects poorly on the adults who raised them and will no doubt hamper the child's social development in terms of how they interact with others on a daily basis

I'm a linguistic nerd, I hope they mention the fact that swear words are stored in another part of the brain (if I recall correctly the limbic system) which is in charge of our emotions. When stroke victims learn to talk again after a CVA, they usually regain use of swear words sooner than 'normal' vocabulary (located in the frontal cortex)!

This is actually the best program for a kid to see . If they have already been exposed to "swear words " ,the very least you can do as a parent is showing them how they originate and why people use them . It sounded like it might be true and was just fun to repeat in pubs as it is funny and sounds like you are knowledgable and not just swearing for the sake of it. It's amazing how many of the interesting "facts" I used to use in conversation all turned out to be horseshit once the internet came along and I could fact check them. Nope, John Lennon was not asked "is Ringo the best drummer in the world?" and responded, "he's not even the best drummer in The Beatles." But that "fact" was common knowledge.
