Shopping for simple tools at estate and garage sales you dont have to buy whole sets, you get great deals and almost everyone has a battery terminal brush in their garage. I used to use baking soda and water to clean, but the corrosion always came back. I finally bought the little spray can of cleaner and one of preventer. The jury is still out as to whether it's better.

Stay safe A cheap fix, go to the dollar store, pick up baking soda and a small paint brush. Mix baking soda with a little water, needs to be think, bush it on the terminal, it will kill the acid

Wish you were closer to virginia. A little grease on the terminals after they've been cleaned and reconnected will keep them from coroding.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic. Stay hydrated. ❤

Apply baking soda over the entire area that's affected by corrosion. This will neutralize the battery acid. Add a small amount of water to activate the baking soda and cause a chemical reaction which will remove the corrosion. Clean and dry the area with a paper towel, and clean up any residue using a scrub sponge. Unhook cables first and use and old toothbrush to clean.

I hope you are taking vitamin D3 everyday. Most of us are low on it this time of year especially. Be well soon!

Dissimilar metals touching each other will corrode in electrical and in plumbing. Clean it up and spray with battery protector spray or a light coat of vaseline to slow down corrosion.

A cheap brass bristle brush like from harbor freight and cola can be used to clean your cables and terminals and coat it with electrical grease or petroleum jelly in a pinch to prevent the problem in future.

All you have to do is act Coca-Cola and it will clean off
