It took me a couple albums to get accustomed to their more mature sound that started around Five. I went for a while not really liking their output, but by New Empire, Vol. 2, I had come around and enjoy all the albums they've released. It's interesting to see their evolution. Swan Songs has such a unique sound and is one of my favorite albums ever, but it does feel very "of the time". I really like how broad their musical scope has gotten. Having more musicality and a focus more on the rock/metal aspects rather than the rap that was more dominant even up to Day of the Dead is something that I feel will continue to lend to the longevity of the band. I love a large variety of metal and I like rap, though I'm pretty picky with it, tending to stay more with 90s and early 2000s gangster rap and horrorcore.
