Due to a lack of available and or affordable housing, my wife and I decided to buy land and build in Ketchikan. Then building prices went way up. We're going through with it anyway and are going to be as involved as possible to keep costs down.
I downloaded Chief Architect Home Designer Suite and designed it, our builder fine-tined it. We bought a lot in January and broke ground in April.
