Home Tennis Lesson 5: Rally (Beginners Aged 4-11)
In this video, you can follow along to a fun filled tennis session that you can do in any space without the need of a tennis racket. The session is aimed at primary school aged children but can be enjoyed by all.
What you'll need:
- A racket or something flat that you can hold (a hard back book or a chocolate tin lid!)
- A ball or something that resembles a ball (you can roll a pair of socks into a ball).
- 4 markers (jumpers or socks are fine!)
- A drinks bottle (one that won't break if it gets knocked over)
The session includes a warm up, tennis footwork, ball skills, racket skills and a game.
If you are doing this indoors, please make sure that the area you're using is safe and not too close to anything that could break... and check with your grown ups first!!
