Once when we first moved in to our new house I had to sleep with my lil sister and I was only 7 at the time. it was so hot so I had to open the window even though it was night time (I was only 7) and 30 minutes later som guy came with a flashlight and started watching me and my sister I was awake but I was scared to move or do anything, so I ran to my dad quickly and told him that there was someone watching us from the window. and when dad came to look there was no one there.

We had a man try and break into our home on a military base in Kansas. He was actually a Sgt. That lived in our neighborhood. Our windows were the kind with panels that you can remove piece by piece. Well he got caught in the window and couldn't get in or out and the police apprehended him . My military husband was out of town and I was there with 3 young children. He was prosecuted and found guilty on all charges and kicked out of the military, but it was the scariest thing I've ever been through!

This scares me. When i was little i was playing video games in my brothers room at night when he was at a sleepover, it was midnight when i started hearing strange noises outside the window, i looked through the blinds and there was someone outside walking around, i was so scared my heart was pounding, it's creepy and frightening.

This is why I keep my blinds/curtains closed

When I was in South Korea, I used to sleep with the window cracked because it was so hot in my room. I was like 12 yrs old i think. When i would wake up at night, i would hear rustling or groaning sounds at the window. One time i woke up and there was a guy looking straight at me. I shut the window on him and ran outside screaming at him. Next day i stuck a piece of wood in the window to stop it from opening.

My momma and her 2 sisters that shared a room dealt with this in the 70's before these cameras. So my grandpa dug a whole right below their window and filled it with tar like stuff, nasty thick, sticky and hard to get out of. Then he put razor blades right where the guy would grab after stepping in it to free himself. Wait for screams, run outside with shotgun and wait for police while he begs for help and you laugh. Story never got old. I miss them and hearing them laugh when telling it. Grandpa actually almost got in trouble for the trap from one cop, but he was new and didn't know that that wasn't the way things worked around there. Haha!

I had one of those once, caught him in act also. Creepy af!

Something like this happened to a guy I used to know about 5+ years ago and it REALLY upset him because the cops were trying to make it out like he was some pedo or something when he was really just a drug addicted "lost soul" type who was super high one night and was checking to see if people were home because he was thinking of stealing something from their yard.

True story my grandma had a peeping tom who would look in her window follow her to work and try and break into her house. And one day when my grandma came home from picking my mom up at school she found him in the house and when he tried to attack her she put a bullet in between his eyes. Moral of the story stay armed and always be prepared.

When I was 13, I snuck up outside my house during the summer and scratched on the window screen. I knew my little brother was inside and the window was open. After a second scratch on the screen, I saw my brothers face looking out between the curtains. I shoved my face against the screen and did a big Arrr! He turned to run but fainted and fell on the floor. It was pretty awesome.
