Today I have a Homestead Coventry ceiling fan that uses the Homestar system. The fan is in polished brass with glossy pecan blades and is from August of 1989. This fan came to me in neigh shambles along with another Coventry, but with a little cleanup and reassemble (and sourcing a new BFR and Homestar wall control) the fan is working great. A couple small lingering issues with the fan include the worn edges to most of the blades and the switch housing being slightly crooked when the set screw is tightened. Performance wise the fan is excellent, the Homestar system works, the flywheel is a-okay, and the bearings are quiet.
