Glad the comments show that I’m not the only one that enjoyed Loki season 2

"A sad green throne potato" Well someone on the Honest Trailers writing team didn't understand Loki's character arc. The whole point is that Loki started out craving a throne he couldn't have, that, despite his beliefs and delusions of grandeur, he had no claim to, and ended with taking a throne he didn't want to save those he cared about. He learned what it truly means to be a god, not some mad power trip or dominion over everything but to be willing to sacrifice yourself and stand alone if it means protecting those that are important to you.

I really enjoyed this season and didn't find the plot confusing. It actually gave me hope that the MCU can get good again.

This honest trailer definitely reeked of "everyone hates the MCU now so let's just pile on to get them sweet internet points"

They did not talk about the visual aspect of loki season 2 which is amazing, the framing, color and whole vibe of the series is great.. i didn’t expect this much hate from the honest trailer team tbh

I really liked Loki 2, it felt like a separate show from the entire MCU which is a good thing now.

The finale is, in my opinion, one of the most glorious episodes of all the MCU shows.

I don't get the hate here. I don't think this season was perfect, but it was sooo much better than anything else Marcel put out this year.

This is one of the few honest trailers I’ll walk away from confused. This season was glorious and the perfect ending for Loki.

I liked this season, funnily enough I found this season the opposite of what this video is saying. It wasn't boring, it wasn't confusing, it literally told you the plot in episode 1 and just worked towards ending it. So the rest was just getting to know the characters and doing the mission required.

I did not expect so much hate for some much needed richness in MCU character arcs, and this is a great, poignant wrap to Loki’s. In spite of its flaws, I loved Season 2.

it was great - proof that when you tell writers to write a friggin FINALE instead of always leaving a door (or 200 doors) open at the end, they're capable of doing it right.

Honest Trailers morphed into Cinema Sins so gradually I almost didn’t notice.

Loki S2 was one of the better things to come out of Marvel in recent times and finale gave a much satisfactory ending to one of the most interesting characters in MCU.

The lack of recognition how entertaining this was, and how wonderful it was to have Ke Huy Quan back... I mean, come on! Every time he said "Temporal Loom", I flashed back to Temple of Doom. Such a great character, such a fun actor.

Loki 2 definitely one of the few good things of this MCU phase

The ending was an amazing goodbye for a character that we've known for ages and i could write an essay on how good it was

I‘m a little bit surprised and disappointed you did not mention how Loki throws his head back to flip his hair in every other scene… and it looks gooooooood ❤❤❤

This season gave Loki a perfectly tragic/heroic ending. He finally gets to be a true hero by making a sacrifice FAR greater than anything Thor has ever done in the MCU, and no one except for Sylvie and the TVA characters are likely to ever know about it, especially if Marvel does end up chickening out of their Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars plans like some rumors have been saying they might.

Loki was honestly the BEST show on Disney+ that I also enjoyed. Absolutely a great ending, music, and a Tom Hiddleston who has earned at least a few nominations for next year's award season. So does Ke Huy Quan for his amazing deadpan deliveries.

I could be wrong but I feel like the writers of this episode not only jumped on the hate marvel train but also didn't actually watch Loki just skimmed it or read some negative articles on it. It is so much better than this video makes it out to be

Loki is the best thing Marvel has made post-Endgame. A show that understands it's character and doesn't just resort to a big battle in the finale but actual heartfelt moments.

I loved the metaphors that he did about Loki "projecting what's going on in the MCU..." but I also really liked this season, and especially that ending episode.

I think this is the first time that I have strongly diverged from Honest Trailers thoughts on a show/movie. Aside from this I have always found the commentary accurate and hilarious. I was surprised that they disliked this so much. I loved Loki Season 2. It also speaks to the strength of Honest Trailers that this is the first time I remember disagreeing with their opinions. Kudos! lol

I mostly liked this season. It spent a bit too much time spinning its wheels, but it had some interesting ideas, most of the cast is still great, and it ended better than most MCU D+ seasons. I thought the part of the Honest Trailer about how this season is an extended metaphor for MCU phases 4 and 5 was great though, and the starring section was excellent.

This honest trailer is really harsh for a show that is significantly better than the other Marvel Disney + shows. Season one and two are so good and great character development for this variant of Loki. You can tell hard hard work was put into the making of both seasons to make them be so cohesive. Disappointed with this honest trailer.

You really underrated Loki S2. I thought the ending was beautiful, epic, mythic even. Hiddleston was amazing. The visual effects were better than we've seen from Marvel in a while. The music was gorgeous. KHQ was adorable throughout. You guys come off like too-cool (in your own opinion) gatekeepers on this one.

I wasn't a Loki fan before this series - he was cool, but he wasn't my favorite character - but this series absolutely changed my mind. It's incredible to see where he came from to where he ended up, what he was willing to sacrifice and go through to protect the people and things he cared about. Even if you didn't know what was happening story wise, this is one of the most GORGEOUS MCU shows they've ever had - I was left stunned after every episode in season 2 and idk who the VFX artists were but I hope they get kudos (bc we know they're not getting a raise - thanks Marvel.) Loki the show was truly one of the best parts of phases 4 and 5 and an absolute perfect ending to one of the characters who's been here since the beginning. (Though I would not be surprised if marvel tried to bring him back somehow...)

I really liked this season, and I will never mot appreciate Owen Wilson being Owen Wilson doing Owen Wilson things. And that last episode was absolutely incredible and worth every supposed boring second. What a cathartic and sad ending we got to a character that a LOT of us have literally grown up with. The only real let down was Sylvie was VASTLY under utilized this season

This season was one of the best pieces of content Marvel has ever put out

damn it Honest trailers, you're being a bit of a Grinch! I actually liked this season more than the first, where Loki was a side character for most of the season.

Only the first & last two episodes mattered in my opinion writers were just filling time with many side quests that lead nowhere but finale was worth it ( you guys were really honest here lol)

A lot of people raved about the ending but I just can’t help but feel it was pretty all over the place until that end two episodes really, like if 2/3rds of your series is mediocre at best but with 2 amazing episodes which are at the end too it’s quite hard to recommend.

Never thought I would heavily disagree with a Honest Trailer in my life. Yeah Marvel hasn’t been at it’s best in last few years and I’ve hated a good handful of projects myself, but this show was truly amazing! The marvel hate trend is getting so stale and boring it’s eye rolling at this point.

I think Honest Trailers missed the mark here. Loki Season 2 was great!

This season was rough in places, and the worst part by far was the insane overacting from the He Who Remains variant. But despite that I think this was a beautiful and somber way to finish Loki's character arc! I feel like his finale couldn't have been more perfect for everything he went through and became. Loki was always complex, surprising, and at times very heartwarming. Not to mention that I feel like he was one of the only villains to have a different power set than the heroes. Like how hard is it to write a villain who isn't just the bad version of the hero? Sorry, that was a random soapbox. The point is that I disagree with Honest Trailer's idea that this was just a boring or lazy ending.

Even though this was a last minute change, this season is so much better than the first season.

It would have been a thousand times better if Mobius was actually just a variant of actual Owen Wilson.

Loki season 2 might not make a whole lot of sense plot wise, but it is immensely narratively satisfying. I especially loved watching Loki and Mobius interact, their relationship is beautiful. Loki season 2 is the first time Marvel has actually made me cry. That last scene with Mobius watching his life on the sacred timeline, feeling lost and without purpose, and Loki all alone on his throne, with the burden of the entire multiverse on his shoulders...may just be the most heartbreakingly beautiful thing ever

If Loki wasn't the best Disney+ Marvel show before, it officially is now. Fingers crossed he and Thor reunite in whatever Secret Wars does with itself.
