Really, the thing that hurts these movies the most is that there was no plan at all. Why would you let an iconic trilogy with a massive fanbase be passed between different directors with different plans for the series like the child of a divorced couple? Imagine if in Empire, Darth Vader said that he was Luke's father, just for him to say "oh, I was lying" in Return of the Jedi. If the Emperor wasn't introduced in Empire and was just shoehorned into the opening text crawl in RotJ, like "oh yeah, you thought Vader was the big bad? Nope, this is his boss. Don't question it..."

Or how Rey can force heal while Jedi, who train their entire lives, can’t? Or how they fixed Luke’s lightsaber after being destroyed in episode 8? Help me understand

I'd even disagree with this. Can you remember any theme from the sequel trilogy beyond Rey's theme? I can't...and I'm not even sure what Williams does to develop Rey's theme. I may need to watch the films more (I'd rather not), but I am struggling. They aren't bad scores by any means (John Williams' worst score is still better than near any other composer!), but they aren't particularly interesting either. The scores for the PT and, especially, the OT are far more interesting.

The reason the music is not memorable is because the new trilogy lacks epic moments that forge the music into the story. That is not Williams fault.

It is. This trilogy is no more connected than all the of expanded universe stories of yore. It's Star Wars but written by totally different people with totally different ideas and even less (far less) consistency with the core stories or rules of the universe.

What made the endgame final scene better was that we knew every character that arrived at the end and what it meant for them to show up and they had staggered entrances. In this movie they just all came at once without anyone knowing who they were.

3PO is literally the only consistent character across all 9 films, and has the best actor behind him. He’s been in everything from the LEGO animation spin offs, to the video games. Antony Daniels shows more love to his character than anyone else in Star Wars. And he’s probably the most wholesome part about this franchise.

Yeah, it's pretty horrifying if you think about. The Skywalker line is ended. Everything Luke and Anakin did was for nothing and the Palpatines have won. Rey has taken Luke's X-Wing, his lightsaber, his home and even his freaking NAME. JJ Abrams is a nihilist who just wants to "leave his mark" on a franchise, like a dog pissing on a tree.
