It just keep on happening! I almost finished it, then it threw that ball thing and killed my entire team! I am on a verge of losing my sanity

use fire mc! his taunt works well taking the entanglement while my loucha debuff cleanses him

also he has a trace upgrade where he makes the team take 15% less dmg which works wonders againts the giant ball attack

I am using fire mc! I think it's the healer! I don't have any upgraded healer other than Natasha rn

My team is IL,Ting Yun,Huo Huo and Gepard. For me this fight is really easy because my Gepard shield can tank all the damage like nothing.

I defeated it with welt, yukong, sw and gepard first try as a f2p In my opinion argenti was harder

Argenti was wayy easier tbh, all you needed for Argenti was a destruction or Erudition unit. This one is bit more annoying cos you need to break it's defenses quickly or it keeps spawning stings​@@-Insert-Name_Here-

Its trying to say that its a giant trial to even endure a powerful cloned shade of an Emanator for (canonically) less than a minute. You survived.

You can beat it with Herta and Ruan mei in lvl 60

Ehh you need luocha to defeat this i only needed yanqing tingyun bailu and fire mc

I beat it with lynx a healer a tank and a strong dps

He really does, I destroyed that thing with Argenti.

And now we see how the power (or at least meta) creep happens. I did fine with my limited characters in team being Seele and Luocha though.

This is the exact reason I didn't update my world before the update, I knew there might be some enemies which will be pain at higher level. Learned my lesson at loafu.

I used Natasha and Fire MC, it works too. The support can be either a max out Pela or Tingyun. As for DPS I used sushang, but DHIL works better of course

i'm on my 23rd attempt, my original team was danheng IL, silver wolf, bronya and lynx, that didn't work so i replaced silver wolf with pela, that also didn't work so i replaced pela with march (i have no other preservation characters other than fire mc), march is e6 so she gets me through like half of the second phase but then i get one shotted. but whatever i'll build my characters a bit more and return to this quest im so over it

@@Potatosergeant I just beat it, in a way im not proud off... I had to use Bailu, Huohuo for perma heals a welt to perma slow him and a dps argenti... and argenti was constantly in 1 hp

I tried 2 team that works, argenti, bronya, tingyun and luocha.. Though tingyun dies at the end... The other team that works so much better is clara, ruan mei, tingyun and luocha.. If you dont have ruan mei, you can replace with march to aggro the enemy, or lynx to also give aggro. If no luocha, you can try with any other healer that can make your whole team survive. I dont generally recommend topaz in this fight, the bug doesnt have fire weakness, and it will make topaz sp negative if you kept changing your target (you can't keep the same target either given how the bug summon more and more enemies if so. all in all, this boss require you to have some sort of blast/aoe dps, such as clara, argenti, dhil, jingliu. Single target probably doesn't work that well, atleast not topaz alone, maybe seele or the upcoming ratio can help with that. But again, generally, just go with an aoe dps. Its much easier that way

Argenti is definitely good here. This boss (like any story boss) doesn't outright require 5star limited units, but having certain ones, of the right elements and maybe Erudition, is great.

Maybe nerf it a little bit, but overall it's not actually too bad. An entirely 4 stars team can beat this boss with proper build (Natasha, Fire MC, Pela, Any DPS)

This boss is definitely F2P friendly and you can find plenty of people fully able to beat it with 4stars, even free 4stars (especially with who they just added). It is also, however, the first that asks you to have a more dedicated and built team for it, and that's problematic for people starting out. I wouldn't mind a nerf, but I don't support a major one.

Don't use any quantum character if lynx or fuxuan then ok since they need for survivability the boss has more quantum resistance

Yeah Blast DPS like Clara, Jing Liu, and DHIL are the best for this boss. The reason is they break the toughness for this boss pretty quickly compared to Argenti

Swap bronya or tingyun for phy mc , breaking the boss is more important here. I used argenti phymc pela and gepard, I did it on first try. Phy mc really helps on shredding the shield shile argenti is charging. Also try to give max break effect to phy mc and break the bug with mc only to get max damage.

@@agnishwarsamanta9622 i would honestly do it... but sadly i have a built fire mc as my tank, and luckily I got a comfortable team. though its definitely true phy mc can help a lot with the weakness break, its still so hard even with ruan mei helping hahah

Switch fire mc with phy mc, breaking the bug's shield is more imp. Give them break effect and break with phy mc it will go down fast. That's what I did.

I used the same team, except I prefer Pela or Tingyun for the support. Prioritize the exploding orange bug, then just focus on breaking the boss toughness during its multiplying phase.

I think its because we're supposed to take advantage of the weakness break for this boss.. which is impossible to achieve if we use any other elements

@@jerryeljeremy7790 It is severely elemental weakness dependent. With the new Ruan Mei helping further with that, and Argenti a great choice. Older 5stars are also useful though, and it should still be very possible with 4stars. But they have to be of relevant elements (so not Elec/Wind).

People like me who actually built Herta recently as a joke: hehehe diamond its all yours.

But it only deal with tiny damage, and they'll keep respawning

If the bug has a shield on, just focus on the minions that way it won’t spawn another one after its turn.

or Herta, Pela, Bronya and Natasha

Use Hypercarry team + don't forget to use consumables. Use 2 sustain, a healer like Natasha and a Shielder like Fire MC. As for F2P 4 star DPS, use Sushang but if you don't have her, use whatever DPS you have, blast and AoE DPS works the best. Use Pela or Tingyun as support.

@@isellpans I finally did it just that it took too long but at the end everyone was full hp and no one died. I basically didn't attack the boss in 2nd phase when it was in Multiply mode, only attacked when he was out of it and always prepared for the shields or heals. I did attack him in multiply only when it was easy to break. Hopefully you also do it bro 👍🏻

Imaginary, Physical, Ice and Quantum units are going to do good work here. If you're not stacked with 5 star units, Herta is going to do better than expected. QQ and Physical MC are surprisingly good choices.

I failed a couple of times but I guess lynx over time heal and luocha auto heal is a good combo in this specific scenario
