Nah tbh, iphone battery has much more capacity than what's written on paper. Just remember mAh isn't the real capacity of a battery. It's actually counted with watt/hour by multiplying rated voltage and mAh. Iphone battery has higher rated voltage than typical android phone battery which is 3.88V while android use 3.7V. In case of iPhone 15 PM vs Galaxy S24 U; they're closer in capacity in Wh IP 15 PM: 4441mAh * 3.88V = 17.23Wh G S24 U: 5000mAh * 3.7V = 18.5Wh As you can see~ the gap actually isn't that significant. That's why iphone battery even tho appears to be smaller is actually closer to their rival

@@JoshuaBoodram resolution dosent affect phones unless its something very high as 4k or higher because the gpu of the phones are already well optimised to handle resolutions as 1440p very well without affecting battery

super youre kind of exaggerating a bit because these phones dont have 1000+ mah batteries maybe except oneplus and also honor literally outperformed the iphone by almost 1 hour, also if he added vivo x100 pro to the test im pretty sure that would last as long or even longer than the honor

@@JoshuaBoodram ugh I hate this argument, a slightly higher screen resolution would only matter if both phones rocked around the same mAh size. There’s been test that proved it doesn’t really matter. Two, the S Pen doesn’t take up that much power, most people aren’t using it every time they take out their phone. And last the S24U isn’t doing anything different in this test than the iPhone to warrant a change. If it was doing multi-tasking sure but then the difference would be even larger. And if resolution was your argument what’s the Honor Magic 6 Pro’s excuse?

Thought I was the only one that noticed that. Most comparison does that. iPhone usually dim the screen brightness for longer battery especially when it heating up. Not a fair comparison in my opinion.

All Samsung mobiles get problems after updating. Samsung s23 ultra battery drain is increased after update. I am also a user of Samsung mobile

The Honor was very disappointing. It has nearly a 30% larger battery than the iPhone but could not beat the iPhone by even an hour. 30% should be over 3h20m! That does not deserve anything other than saying that a bigger battery is obviously better.

@@andyH_England it doesnt m,atter if magic 6 pro has bigger battery or not . its the fact that honor was able to put that battery into the same dimensions as an i phone and provide better battery life. and if this test had been on mobile data then honor would have a lead of more than 2 hours, please check battery drain test from channel lover of tech. its the same thing in all phones, one can argue that i phone only has better performance because it had a head start and secondly it produces its own silicon and (it has a bigger die area that is it has a bigger chip because apple doesnt comercialise the chip and sell it to other vendors so apple can waste more dollars on larger peice of silicon) we can just say because apple uses its own chip which is larger in size than android chips it doesnt count. We jsay apple have used whatever it has in its pocket and provided a better processor. And similarly we can say that honor magic 6 pro has 4nm processor inside so it could have performed way better if it had a 3nm processor inside.(3nm gives almost 10 to 15% more efficiency at the same performance level compared to 4nm) 15% more efficiency would mean honor would have lasted solid 2 hours more in this given test

5600 mhp of battery I am surprised that I have not taken at least one hour of advantage of the iPhone, honor very bad with its optimization, Apple with that battery of that size would take you 13 or 14 hours without problem.

My S24U when it gets below 10% dies twice as fast as it normally drains. So seems like they ARE FAKING the battery percentage.

It's because Samsung has vapour cooling unlike apple that doesn't have any cooling system also apple screen dimming save a lot of battery meaning it's not a fair test it's also meant to reduce heat so even at over 50 degrees with screen dimming apple is a real shame

The day that the battery explodes on your face due to overheating, you will want your phone to warn you that you should let it cool. I prefer the warning to something serious happening to me.

It had 28% larger battery than the iPhone but did not even get 10% more SOT though the last test was with the camera so maybe give it a bit more credit. But it was no shock, maybe slightly disappointing. Just for the record, if the iPhone had 28% larger battery it would have had another 3hrs SOT (approx).

I disagree,I don't experience any buggy software,I get a full day battery no problem,and I only paid £600 for pixel 8 pro,256gb for mine as new condition on ebay, so I am happy with my pixel 8 pro. I agree its definitely not worth £1000! That's why I am happy with the £600 that I paid for it.

Both have performed much better on previous software versions so I ssupect both have bugs.

iOS 17.4.1 and one ui 6.1 problem with the last patch of April are terrible, that didn’t happen before they were updated with those versions.
