Is Huawei helping itself or isolating itself? They already use a different type of SD card. Now the Harmony OS? Can they convince other phone manufacturers to use Harmony OS instead of Android and Google? I previously have bought phones that used the Windows Mobile OS and ended up wasting money. I have been buying Huawei phones for the past 4 years but if they switch to Harmony OS, then I will reluctantly switch to Samsung. I have already bought a Huawei smartphone that does not have Google play store but loyalty can only go so far.

@david smith They are isolating themselves. Outside of China they do not have a market share. They are banned in America and are reliant on American technology. Huawei is just an assembly company for components that were manufactured somewhere else.

@david smith If Huawei were not so dependent on American technology, the would not had been so affected by this US ban. American companies are no longer permitted to share technology with Huawei.

Why are some people trying to compare this phone to the Mate 20x? The Mate 20x has a superior chip and has double the Ram capacity and cost double the amount.

@@Anonymous-wt4lx The phone has been deleted and is not widely available. If you buy it second hand, you might need to replace the battery. It's a gaming mobile that was released in 2018. There is a 5G version but it has a smaller battery.
