Digital Foundry already did a video on that. You can expect slightly better image quality with DLSS even with lower than PS5 resolutions, but other than that, the graphics options don't really provide anything significantly better than the PS5 version.

With any midrange system from the past 1-2 years, it should be playable at maxed out settings at 80-90 fps using dlss upscaling + framegn. Similar story for dlss upscaling + fsr frame gen mod. Which tbh is like 3x the fps of ps5, better AA and AF and way more customisable. I see this as a win-win for every pc gamer out there

Better graphics and higher fidelity than Dragons Dogma 2, while still running at much higher framerates even at 4K vs 1440P in DD2? All the Capcom faceriders defending DD2's poor performance problems would have you believe performance like this isn't possible. Turns out it really is just developer laziness. Well done Nixxie

Capcom themselves proved that it is possible, when they released RE4 Remake last year. That game runs very well on midrange PCs and looks great too. Unfortunately, DD2 is not even close to what RE4 offers - neither in terms of graphics quality, nor in terms of performance. I would say DD2 is a disaster from technical perspective.

I played this masterpiece on PS5 so I dont need to buy it for my PC (1660ti wouldn't be able to make it anymore) so I wish y'all PC players an amazing experience. Enjoy it and don't rush it... Only then you will really feel how great the game is. I rushed it the first time, now I am taking my time and it is top 5 SG open world games I played so far.

I have it on PS5 but only played a couple of hours. I wasnt really a fan of the 40fps resolution mode it felt a little choppy. I think i just may have to double dip and get it for PC. This game with frame rates this high at 4k is going to be pretty epic. My 4090 and I are waiting.

I wonder how my 3070 laptop will run this @ 1080p. I am guessing mostly maxed out settings with 60fps. If it can't hold 60 with max at 1080p, I will just cap the framerate at 30. I am old school so I don't mind playing at that framerate.

When you're talking ~150fps numbers in 4K using features like DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, only a high end RTX 4000 series has the features and the power to do this. A GTX 1660 Super (my first graphics card) cannot do this. How is "techy" your name and you don't know this?

currently playing the game on a 4060 and even at 1080p with dlss on performance and dlss frame gen on i barely get 60fps. am i missing something ive messed with so many settings. i have an i9 12900k, rtx 4060, 32GB 6400Mhz DDR5 ram and am on a gen 4 ssd. ive had moments dipping to low 20s. ive tried low vs high preset.

What is crazy is the lighting in this game even though it doesn't actually use ray tracing for its lighting, shadows or illumination. Guerrilla did some crazy juju with this game especially to get it working on a PS4

@@alexanderluna1845 90 FPS in a pretty dense foliage area and if you turn frame generator on, but still keep the resolution native getting about 140 FPS and this is all without using any of the dynamic resolutions scaling it’s just straight 4K.. I will also point out unlike a lot of PC releases we have seen as of lately. The camera and motion is absolutely smooth with no stutters or hitches great optimization. I’m running a Asus rog strix 4090 overclocked and a i9 13900K overclocked to 6 ghz for reference.

It anyone is wondering why their game is in 20 fps its because you have your controller connected to blutooth which the game then caps the fps to 20. Pretty dumb but just use a cable and you will be fine

@@denisruskin348 I tried this today in cyberpunk, of course I don’t have a 3090 but an rx6600 and with FG ,retracing it feels awful, you even feel when it turns on and off, as if the input lag is increasing by a factor of 10. it seems like they made this technology so that weak video cards could use it, but in the end it turns out that this is again only for strong video cards -_-

Watch Digital Foundry's video. A 5 year old midrange CPU with a 5 year old upper midrange GPU work just fine (Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2070 Super). Of course if you want the results from this Nvidia showcase video you need probably need a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RTX 4080 Super or 4090. Someone commented that the GPU used for this video is a 4080 Super. I couldn't find where they specify this though.
