There have been many times when playing forbidden west where it's felt like a avatar game. One of the biggest ones is horizons soundtrack. The original avatar soundtrack has a crazy history. The short version is that James Cameron got his composer to try to make a soundtrack comprised of a tribal like vibe that no one has heard before. He put it together, hired a expert who studied sounds between different languages. Presented it to Cameron who threw most of it out cause he said it was a sound he never heard before. The Horizon soundtrack sounds very close in style to the thrown out score of Avatar.

true they captured that alienating experience of a lush environment. now the upcoming Avatar game is given an improvement form previous 2010 game. it was reminiscent of a more vibrant FC3 visual style + Primal gameplay and the AC mechanics of eagle vision and audio cues.

We do have spear later in the game - but they haven’t mentioned it. They’ve show it for a split second in one of the old trailers and it’s been leaked on Reddit a few times.

It’s because it is a big thing for Avatar. It has a bunch of old games and comics that are not canon, plus we won’t have a movie till hopefully (2025). Cameron is super picky and this is supposed to hold us all over till the next movie.
