The extra caution caused President-elect Joe Biden to cancel his original plans of taking Amtrak from Delaware to the ceremony, a commute Biden had done during his 36-year career as a senator. I do hope that with Biden's love of using the train and with Pete Buttigieg as the new Secretary of Transportation, there will be a better focus on infrastructure so that Amtrak will be able to add more stops and destinations.
