Tensions over Taiwan are the highest they’ve been in nearly three decades.
China has warned it will take Taiwan by force if necessary, while US military strategists are now mapping out war games to predict the impacts of a conflict.
They forecast it could become a brutal regional war, with casualties and carnage on a scale not seen since WWII.
It’s increasingly becoming a question of when - not if - China will launch an assault. Experts say it could be as early as 2025.
And Australia would play a key role in the conflict as it spills across the Pacific.
The investigation reveals how the US has been quietly building up its military assets in northern Australia, including plans to deploy nuclear capable B-52 bombers south of Darwin.
There are now fears that relationship could pull Australia deeper into any future conflict.

It feels like we are slowly sleepwalking into nuclear war and the end of the world; 1. There is a huge rise in nationalism on both sides. 2. Both sides feel weak but can't afford to look weak. They are arming themselves because they think the other side is stronger, but the other side feels weak and reacts by arming themselves some more. 3. Anyone who suggests a compromise is cancelled and shunned. The middle ground is slowly being eroded. There is a huge rise in intolerance. I am really worried by the lack of logic and reasoning. But i am more disappointed by the West. 4. Weeks ago US/Australia/New Zealand were warning Solomon Islands that there would be consequences if they allow China station police (not military) in their own territory. They totally ignore the fact that in November 2021 thousands of Chinese were attacked in a riot most business burnt and looted were in China Town. They said that they were never consulted - as if they would consult Solomon Islands when they invited more American troops. 5. The former US ambassador to Russia stated that if Russia were to attack Ukraine with nuclear weapons, no one would ask Zelensky to cede part of his country to Russia. I kept wondering if that is really how nuclear weapons work, because if Russia nukes Ukraine there will be nothing left to surrender. Again in this video they keep saying that. 6. If you make the assumption that the majority of china's air fleet is soviet era, and poorly maintained, then yes, it is clearly a fair underestimation of their capabilities. This is a bad assumption to make. Assuming they are at least peer level to US capabilities, for most of their airframes, is a good start. The j-20s, apparently stealth capable? Assume they are, prepare accordingly with better radar sets, and even if they aren't capable of as good stealth capabilities as US aircraft, you have longer range radar now. Hopefully... the Australian military is not as prone to underestimation as the ABC would suggest our government is.

Also psychology 101 // +++ Plus, you cannot always control the circumstances in your life however, you can control your RESPONSE to those circumstances (CBT). "A quiet mind cannot be perplexed or frightened." Another successful attribute is to learn how to take emotion out of the decision making process… Your initial reaction is often the wrong reaction and it is important to take a second, even if a second is all you have, to make an informed decision. Try to apply it every day. Ask yourself: “What is the problem? What is the emotion I’am associating to the problem”? … That is enough time to make an informed decision. Do not react, do respond… even in combat. On our imaginary gauge, be on the neutral zone, neither in a negative manner nor in a positive manner. Do not react at all. Instead take an action, one that you are in control of, rather than a reaction... an action you are not in control of. Think back to anytime when you were angry and you will find that you reacted to some stimulus outside of yourself. Know this for a fact, you do not have to react to anything unless you want to react to it. For most part we are programmed to react, we are hypnotised into thinking that a response in kind is called for or we are not mature adults. I studied foreign policy in university. Similar to how Britain gifted America technology in WW2, I firmly believe we should be gifting submarine and aviation technology to Australia. There were several military academia reports that stated that if Australia and New Zealand had access to more sensitive US aviation and submarine technological capabilities. They would be able to rapidly use them to develop their own systems. By Australia having an extremely powerful submarine and fighter aircraft fleet , allows them not only to protect against China, but allows them to help protect some of the most important waterways in the Indian Ocean. Australia is a country that's going to have massive global significance over the next century, and we need to do more to help our allies. When you look at an aggressive and expanding China. They're going to follow the same strategy of the Japanese had in WW2. They need the Philippines, the Indonesian, and Australian areas. The metal, rubber, oil, just the vast natural resources of this area makes it critical for long-term war effort and economy. As an American 100% in supportive of our Australian allies and I think we need to be doing more! We need to be building new joint military facilities, exchanging technology and have a highly integrated military systems, I would even propose as going as far as building joint infrastructure projects together.

Taiwan has 5 iconic features. Convenience stores, night markets, sheet metal houses, scooters and temples🥰👍. Although it's way far from comparing with the lifestyles of beauty and graceful architectures, designings of Europe, prosperity with great combination of the old and new cultures and infrastructures and magnificent art works of China, Japan and Thailand, entertainment, fashion and prosperity of the U.S., Korea and H.K., or healthy, simple and harmonic environment of Singapore, Canada and Australia. Yet in terms of food and convenience it's performing over the average. With this World first or second amenities of life and convenience store we need to thank to a lot of talent, friendly and deligent staffs working in the industry. Taichung, Taidong and bush walking of Northern coast are some of those tourists are not that familiar but also worthwhile to visit. There's a lot of cousines with chicken, Beef, pork, tepanyakis, noodles, hot pots, soups, dumplings, bread and pastries, snacks, fried stuffs, breakfast, coffee shops, fruits and beverages. In terms of hygiene, platings and decorations, environment and atmospheres, accommodation and friendly communication are probably can be much improved. But amounts and prices which is cost performance ratio is above the World average. In Taiwan people like salty sweet, bittery sweet or hot sweet taste so food tended to be a little bit smooth sweet than the other places. Some of those good food come from the famous shops and some from small shops or shops in traditional markets are even better. There's still ones not that good but the propotion are relatively less. So will be some suprises to explore. Great filming and editing and welcome to Taiwan. All the best🥰👍。

I was on the flight deck in the first wave to be launched with a relief force, 10 minutes before launch, the Captain of the Hancock announced that all Marines were off the island and we would be returning to Subic Bay in the Philippines! At that point, as we were turning to port a Russian trawler cut across our bow and was "bumped", standing on the flight deck I saw the Russian sailors sliding across the deck of their vessel. From then to our return to Subic Bay we didn't SEE any Russian trawlers!
