When a big wave catches the lineup out of position, there's usually a few casualties - people get washed towards the shore or even break a leash.
But this group of pro surfers warming up for the contest at Margaret River all managed to paddle out of harms way or duckdive directly underneath a freak bigger wave during this session a few days ago. Showcasing their all-round skills in challenging conditions.
