I began cutting my own curtain bangs last year, and haven’t went to a salon since. My hair is just about the length of your hair beforehand, but I’m looking to cut my hair shorter than you did. I haven’t done a haircut on myself other than curtain bangs so I’m hoping this doesn’t go terribly… using rather sharp kitchen scissors and teeny hair trimming scissors lol.

i just cut off like, 14 inches of hair to donate and i used this tutorial to fix the blunt cut at home and o m g, so easy to follow, it was so even, and even with some front parts that were uneven, i figured it out, and my hair feels amazing, looks amazing, i am so happy 💥 i don’t think i have to go out to a salon anymore :D money saved 💪💥

I tried cutting my hair with this tutorial. I admit that first time in my life I am so happy with the result. Of course it is not perfect but I don’t mind going out with it. In the past I had cut my hair twice but right after I cut my hair I have to go to hair dresser to fix for what I did 😂 but now don’t need to go anywhere and happy how is turn out! Been cutting my hair more or less this way for a year. I have a lot of hair so also use thinning shears. Works well to add some wave with flatiron or velcro rollers.

Janice - I kept trying to get the mobile hairdresser, who sent a flyer out, here in France but she never replied after leaving messages with her partner. Perhaps she is frightened of covid - so I resorted to this and glad I did. I used fabric scissors - as lost my hairdressing ones in the house move! Will get some as you suggested. Now looks a lot better!
