How I made a hypnotic Fidget Toy

Here I am using a mix of Fusion 360, blender, and prusa slicer to create my own fidget toys inspired by 'circle fidget' by blarg42 on printables and 'nested hexagon fidget toy' by baconbob on thingiverse
Also I'm developing a pet app called 'Habbie: step tracker & pet' and you can find it on the app store! It is my current obsession and I am actively working on it every day to bring new updates 💖

Initially I was a little dubious about the 'hypnotic' part of these fidgets, but the part about a minute and a half in where you started messing around with them on the table literally just like... stunned me like a pokemon or something! Fantastic work!

In fusion I would make one Chevron shaped sketch, then rectangle pattern that sketch to make many of them in a row. Take some time to make sure the spacing is appropriate. Next, draw a square on a perpendicular axis. You will use the square to sweep the Chevron shapes. If done correctly, it should come out the same as what you did, with way less time spent.

The differents in rotating angle is mor about the length of the long sides, than how many sides. Try making the gaps between each square a little larger, this will give you a bigger angle on the rotation.

Try putting a bit of rubber on the back of the centre component so when you rotate on a desk it sticks still maybe? Cool work though!

What if you did a sweep in Fusion 360? Make the profile and the sweep it around the squares.
