I'm glad you're getting into the game and it's good to see dedication in all forms. However, I think you vastly underestimated the difficulty of the challenge you set. Doing 30 days of training and then trying to beat a 2000 rated player, is like doing 30 days of maths in your whole life and then trying to take the MIT maths entrance exam, or like doing going into the UFC Octagon after doing 30 days of training. If you study hard enough, you'll definitely climb in ELO, but you've got to remember that your opponent has been studying for 20-odd years, not 30 days.

That's a massive improvement in such a few time. Keep grinding my guy and maybe in 3 months we will see you again trying it.

There's a very high likelihood You could reach even up to 1500, but still, the difference between 1500 and 2000 (Andrea's skill lvl) is wider than the grand canyon - you'll never be able to beat her unless she goes easy on her - but... with that said, don't give up! You may still be able to get that date regardless!

I also had a big Eli development like him. At the end of the summer of 3rd grade I quit chess having an elo of 600. I started up January of 5th grade and I’ve improved to 1100 in rapid, in less than a month. I continue to play chess and it’s very fun.
