Today I will share how I would learn coding step by step if I had to start from ZERO again. This video will answer following questions:
1. How to become a Software Engineer?
2. Which programming language should you learn?
3. How to learn data structures and algorithms?
4. What coding projects should you build?
5. How to crack coding interviews?
Here are all the resources I talked about in this video:

Last semester in college i had a pretty basic introduction to C, and now i'm currently learning Python. I still haven't actually learned a language with practical exercises and stuff, so i want to study a language on my own since the course i'm taking is not really going deep into programming yet. What do you recommend? Good pointers. It is hard to seeing people struggling to get a job in this industry. Too many employers expect way more from a candidate than in my opinion, they should. I’ve seen many job posts where they expect you to know multiple languages, frameworks, and libraries. On top of this, they also expect you to know infrastructure and services offered by Azure or AWS. I don’t care if you’re a seasoned software engineer, this is just overwhelming.

Such an authentic pathway to learn coding. Yes, Java is the language to go for. Once we learn it, things become easy to catch. It's not as fast C++ but not as slow as Python. Apart from it, Java makes you industry-ready with its vast library and industry usage. Learning Java is not a shortcut. But once you try hard and keep persisting, things will get easy from there on.

If not , can we switch to other fields in IT, if we are not good enough 😕. Like cloud or managerial roles . Is that a possibility? How do older people 40+ age still survive as software engineer ?

Try to see if coding can complement your existing experience. If you are an absolute beginner, be prepared to spend dedicated months to an year to actually get started off and reach a situation where you can build projects. I am also from non-CS like op. I have been working with C++ and QT for 2-3 years now, and have been spending the last 5-6 months studying DSA for the first time as a proper course. I believe that doing some CS courses would definitely make you a more well-rounded programmer.

Get a Job in Java/Spring Boot first, only then you think about other advance shit like cloud computing or machine learning. You are going to fail from the get go if you start thinking about advance stuff right now, definitely gonna quit after feeling dumb af. Don't want to be a downer here but just getting the "easy level" Java/Spring Boot is already hard af and most self learners don't even make it past this foundation. So there you go.
