The overtaking car would have been visible to her, had her attention not been divided by the phone call. Someone who is more on the ball, less hesitant and not distracted can see around the bus, almost went into her as he was going around her for messing about. It’s very obvious when someone is on the phone, right up behind a vehicle. If I find there is a requirement to pass a large stationary vehicle, you obviously look to place yourself in a position where you can see the pavement, any exits, oncoming traffic and pedestrians crossing, she can see none of this, only the rear end of the bus. This could have gone on for 10 minutes, her messing about, missing chances, there are better drivers around, they don’t want to be held up by distracted drivers.

How do you know that he didn't indicate? It's mirror signal then manoeuvre.. also she indicates at the same time as she pulls out which is bad road etiquette along with the fact she's on her phone Bluetooth or not she wouldn't stand a chance if a claim had occurred.

The actual irony is that people are taught not to use indicators when going around obstacles because your positioning in the road should be clear enough, plus indicators are always misleading when doing this. Are you turning right? Are you going around? Are you parking up on the right?

Well, if you _did_ drive, you would know how SHE was in the wrong. She was too preoccupied with her phone call to check her mirrors before changing lanes. The white Mercedes was already in the lane and had the right of way. Had the driver not honked his horn, she would have just continued moving into the lane and caused an accident. Just because she puts her signal on for a second before changing lanes doesn’t give her the right to plow into the next lane.
