the prelude had no dialogue but still a more comprehensive and better story than all the latest fast and furious movies combined. It showed what Brian was going through, his progress, how he ended up Miami. All with no words, no cringy one liners, no over the top action. Just pure racing and storytelling.

That’s insane, imagine the stories they say about him. “He came in all quiet, blonde with blank blue eyes, but you could tell he was focused on one thing. He won that race, never seen anyone drive as fast as him till this day. After taking the cash he simply left without a word and we never saw that dude again” Bruh, tue endeless potential of what this interlude could of spawn. Hell even the girl that helped him get to the lot of the skyline. I wonder if she ever Looks back and says “I wonder what ever became if that guy I dropped at the car lot years ago” Endless stories could be told, Paul we miss you dearly, I hope your showing god how to race like pro In heaven

The fact that the woman didn't even care he was in the newspaper and was just like "damn he is gorgeous" and helped him escape is awesome. Love his smile when he sees the Miami babes, then smiles even bigger when he sees his other hobby.

I remember watching 2F2F and pausing it at all the scenes with girls for a quick release as a kid... I owe it to this movie

Ahhh, back in the day of terminator body kits, chassy LEDs, and massive mufflers. I miss the early 2000s car scene so badly. This prelude is massive nostalgia! Now excuse me while I go play some Need for Speed Underground on my PS2.

The small detail where the girl picks up Brian in an eclipse and says “get in” is a great call back to the first movie

In the whole F&F franchise Brian was the only guy who managed to beat 2 Ferraris in 2 different races head to head. The only guy who beat and drove a Supra.

Something I noticed is that Brian was a noob when it came to street racing focus on power and after the events F&F1, he improved drastically with all the experience he got racing others in this timeline heading to his GTR

First time seeing this was a kid, never understood the biker part, until I started riding bikes myself. See, there's not many cars that could beat a 1000cc bike on a straight, and whilst the supra and even the GTR R35 today, can keep up or even beat them, an R34 could not. And a few bikers love to prove that point. So, he let them, and let them get pulled over too.

As much as I appreciate the side story. Lets remember that during that time the R34 needed a special permit to be owned and driven in North America. This permit was so expensive that only a handful of them were even allowed in the country. So I find it hard to believe he would find one kicking around at a used car lot.

For those wondering the sound of Paul walkers skyline the engine isn’t a RB26 with a single turbo , it’s honestly from a 1JZ vvti engine so craig Thompson said it himself

I watched this when I was a teenager, but not really since then. One thing I noticed is that Brian shakes everyone's hand after a race to give/show his respect. Something that he wanted in his first race. I also look back and wonder where the rest of the crew is at. I'm sure they didn't go back home after Lance was shot, and Tran arrested. It's a shame that with so much great story left to tell, and all of the unexplored content they still have left, that they decided to take Fast & Furious into the asinine, hyperbolic, over exaggeration of what it is today. We never wanted to see cars fly from building to building in Dubai, cars taking down tanks, or airplanes. We never wanted this James bondified version of the franchise. We just wanted fast cars, street races, a good cast, and a decent script. Instead, we got a Fast and Furious franchise that milks Paul Walkers passing for 3 films, and cars flying from helicopters. *shrug* Fast 10 will probably be in space, they'll be driving auto-bots, Wiz Khalifa's "see you again" will play 10 times

Only in the 90’s-early 2000’s would it be slightly plausible to find a R34, in running condition, mind you, laying in some random car dealer lot, in what seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Gotta love the older F&F movies.

It's actually quite valid for people questioning the existence of a dusty R34 being there randomly knowing that the car was produced between 1998-2002. This movie was made around 2002/2003 or so. So relatively the car is quite new for it to be stashed in a place like that 🤣 All those aside, this movie made me fall in love with the R34 till today. No other car can ever make an impact like that. I wish I could own one in the near future.

Ce prélude est inclus dans le DVD 2 Fast 2 Furious et je l'ai regardé par hasard.... c'est une transition (prélude comme son nom l'indique lol) entre le 1er Fast & Furious et le 2 D'autre part si ya quelqu'un qui connait la courte musique lors des courses et quand il est au café, ça serait top car je la cherche tjrs :) :) RIP Paul +++ :)
