Im pretty sure hank is supposed to be a counter to throwers because indestructible walls were too good but supercell doesnt wanna remove them for whatever reason. Reason I believe so is because hank can shoot through walls and he gains a shield when he is right by a ball cause of his 2nd sp so he wont die easily when he is fighting a thrower near a wall.

Honestly 2nd star power seems kinda difficult to effectively make use of even in this context It is usable but I think people may tend towards 1st sp because it is way more straightforward

I love the design and the way they set him up. I think hes gonna be unbelievable on certain maps depending on his range through walls. That being said he will be attriciously counter picked by sharpshooters and tanks. He seems like a hybrid of frank and jackie but really hoping for him to be really good.

I think people sometimes fail to realize how big his hitbox it; just from visuals alone, it looks like it might be bigger than Franks'.

He's a lot different from other tanks in the sense that you don't need to wait to reload. Once you're on top of someone you can spam shots basically nonstop. Gonna be interesting to see how he plays based on the kind of tanks we have in the game right now

4:47 Cryingman I'm not a pro to tell you But what I understand from second starpower is he can shoot from behind walls so staying near a wall gives him a clear advantage. Well with this starpower and wall with him no body can stop him except Jacky. He can even counter throwers cuz shooting behind from walls is his main advantage. Correct me if I'm wrong Edit: and with iron walls I think he will be good brawler in meta

Basically all throwers have more range than him, if he sticks behind walls he can't hit them if they back away while they can hit him.

The seconds SP can be user in wall maps against throwers, for example in belle's rock, knockout it could be useful to make the throwers match a bit harder, thought he can pass the walls so yes

I guess they should add a star power like janet to charge his shots faster so that u can prevent enemy from healing while charging shots or else it wont be any use to use fully charged shots either they should buff the wall star power or just change it to something like this cuz that wall one is kinda useless u have to be so close to wall which is rare.

I think the second sp is meant to counter throwers? Like when they run around a piece of wall and you try to chase them but they keep attacking you, with Hank you can tank their attacks with your shield up and attack through the wall to hit them. It's situational at best imo, also walking that close to a wall slows a brawler down so I don't know if it works as they intended to.

I think his second star power can be useful in certain maps, like for example the hot zone map you showed, he can be near a wall while putting pressure on the enemy team inside zone

Just a plus: Hank can use the ball in brawl ball when charging the main attack, so yo can have the boost in speed and the 3k damage if there's an enemy trying to block xD

The wall shield one could be useful in heist maps, like Pit stops where you can stand behind the wall, and maybe hit the safe? Also this Starpower makes him play like jacky, just go arround the circle.

He is useless in heist anyways, but I think it has more use in hot zone where you can camp a wall to prevent brawlers from walking in without taking at least 3k damage

I think Hank is DESIGNED for throwers, with his second star power he can easily push throwers away from the objects

Pretty nice, but I think 2nd star power must be changed with something useful than a shield. It might be like Janet's star power, her star power can increase her attack range faster, this Maybe would work very cool for Hank, 'cause sometimes wait till your attack is enough to shoot, the enemies will have kill you already.

Sprout and Hank with his second star power will be rly good I think in bounty and in knockout where sprout can push him with its super and give a shield for hank I want to try if his star power can activate when he is near an enemy sprouts wall when he is released

I think that the second star power is meant for situations where you can shoot through the wall, and there is a brawler that can throw something over walls (Willow's main attack, Penny's mortar, Spike's super).

The 2nd star power could be use in hotzone, depends the map tho, as a last peak if there's no wall breaker against, I mean, if you can stay behind a wall with a shield and deal dmg, that's op

I personally think you're wrong in thinking that Hank will be 2/5 in solo sd. He has 9k health, and as solo is a passive mode because of teamming, he will be great in mpas like feast or famine and skull kove (idk about the english names lol i'm french), especially with that second star power that allows him to have a shield near walls (this star power is way better than you might think, even more with the unbreakable walls) and that gadget that gives him another shield. Even if he doesnt have an escape ability he should work pretty well and i think we'll see a lot of hanks in sd.

Hes kinda like janet but tank i think one of his star ppwers should get reworked to his bubbld charges faster theres no advantage to charge the bubble in 1v1 fights it takes too long to get damage off The only advantage to charge bubble is when going against thowers and being next to walls to get the bigger bubble and shield or move speed I think get rid of the wall shield star power and replqce it with hank charges his bubble 20% faster And for the other star power make it so he gets a 20% move speed when his bubble is over 50% charge And make one of his gadgets hank instantly charges his bubble to full size that would be good

I think his second starpower is gonna be ok just for the fact that I feel like since he’s a tank AND his shot go through walls he’s gonna wanna stay near those walls for protection, the shield, and I guess for safely attacking the enemy, kinda like a thrower

4:44 , Here are my thought about his passive , his second passive would be much better as he will be played on particular maps and only on them . i think for his second passive , he will be played by the feature that his attacks are not visible in the bushes . It would be really good against melee assasins such as edgar who has no ability to check the bushes . Or even punish opponents' misstakes if they dont check bushes . His gameplay I think will be funny . He is also good against throwers , as he can tank a lot of dagame by his passive and gadget and can kill them . He will be very depended on the map , but he will be good i think . I would like to play him but I resigned from the game because they dont remove autoattacks xd . Bye

I think how the wall star power works is that if you are on the other side of a wall attacking an enemy you will gain a shield helpful against flank attacks and throwers

I think the star power is because you can attack from behind walls and you are usually right next to a wall when you do so maybe they are trying to make people use his crazy mechanics and get rewarded for it

Second sp use: Well, if you want to kill a thrower over the wall, you go very close to that wall, so you will get a shield and for throwers is impossible to kill you...but they can run away, so idk :D (Sorry for my english)

I guess they tried to do something with the 2nd star power since he can shoot through walls. But if it's not something like tanking more damages while moving around walls to be covered and take fights, I don't see the point of it. In my opinion, he seems pretty fun to play tho.

I was wondering how Hank would do in CRYSTAL ARCADE playing lane. He can use the SECOND STAR POWER since he will always be next to a wall (the wall in the bushes) and he can shoot through the wall too, so he could probably beat even like Ash there........
