I don’t necessarily believe it was an inside job, I’m not a conspiracy theorist. But there is some evidence of two shooters that’s never been mentioned, it’s kind of odd.

It's strange how when this shooting happened the main stream media flocked to it and were on it 24/7 but now no one talkes about it. It's crazy how footage from the attack you can see multiple shots being shot at once despite him being the only shooter. It's astonishing that no motive was ever found, even years later and how their was no follow up to on of the biggest mass shootings in us history. His brother in press interviews even claimed that it made no sense on why he did it.

He had wanted to shoot at a concert in Chicago that summer but didn't. It seems like he had numbers in mind it's just the...why that is really scary not to know.

I had traveled out with my daughter and her boyfriend. We spent a few hours at Excalibur and were curious at all the folks dressed in country western attire crossing the street to the concert area. We were all very tired and I nearly held us over 1 more day. I’m grateful we left back to California. Had we stayed in that area or even somehow went to the event... I woke up 1 am and saw the breaking news. Didn’t have the full story yet and by later that day the magnitude of the horror unleashed hit my family hard. What disturbs and disgust me is that since this incident or the incidents before this mass shooting, absolutely nothing has been done to change gun laws, we've barely increased the age limit to purchase a gun and we also need to make sure that we frequently look at background checks on people who want to purchase guns . We also need to make sure people with bad mental health get treated for it quickly before it worsens and we definitely need to recognize the red flags more often of someone planning an attack.

I assume it goes to investigators first. Even after it goes to the media it takes a while to piece all the footage together and for the NYT to do their own digging in to the sequence of events. This video was more than just raw footage, but rather a detailed summary of his movements throughout the week.

He obviously did it in a pretty smart way. The Mandalay is a big hotel with a lot of staff and a lot of guests. Its likely he just came in on another day with more suitcases when other staff was on duty and 5 suitcases at a time isnt odd for a big hotel like that. No ones gonna tell other staff someone came in with 5 suitcases today watch out and see if he brings anymore. Knowing what we know it is easy to tell what hes doing and how he did it but no ones gonna realize anything unordinary is even happening cause no one remembers a person for bringing suitcases into a hotel, its nothing unordinary.

I think the staff would be occupied doing other things. I doubt they’d be focusing on one person.

Plus I worked in a really big hotel here in London, there aren’t cameras in many places (like the corridors where rooms are). The CCTV footage is always visible at the reception but we hardly looked at it. We weren’t supposed to be on any guests case unless we thought they were pedophiles.

TheBlasianKing storage isn’t cheap. Higher quality video = larger files. Multiply that by how many hundreds of cameras in a casino, the disk storage adds up. So, the option is, use lower fidelity material that’s good enough to meet the needs of the objective

I have to say, MGM has far more than enough money (and makes enough) and actually incentivized to set up the highest quality cameras to catch cheating. It did strike me as a bit weird that normal security cameras are being used in the biggest gambling hotel in Las Vegas where millions of dollars are being spent by the hour.
