I can’t believe that people didn’t clean their phone before Coronavirus ....💀💀💀💀

My phone heats up like a geyser when i play heavy games so it automatically fries all the germs. Kinda.

As many people have stated, I'm really surprised people rarely clean their phones. I used to not do it regularly but I tried doing it once a week. The fact that I place it on almost any surface, touch it anytime, others touching it, etc, means that it's just harbouring a plethora of germs and bacteria. Now, I'm making sure to disinfect it regularly. Washing your hands means nothing if you immediately touch your unclean phone afterwards. Then you touch your face, face mask, other people, etc. The spread of germs happens really fast, and we're not fully aware that we're all doing it.

I been using alcohol wipes for years to clean my phone and never had a problem. Soap & water seems a bit risky on an electronic device.

And here I bring my phone to toilet...

I play pubg regularly which overheats the phone and the microbial activity is reduced automatically.

Imagine one of those "2" left on the phone is actually the coronavirus

Have been cleaning my phone for years but not with soap and water. I just use microfiber cloth, cotton wipes and antiseptic liquid in small amounts just enough to cover the entire surface. Quite funny to see that everyone has to do it now. 😊🤣

I just wipe carefully with alcohol prep pad, then wipe my fingertips with the pad before tossing it. Also wipe computer keyboard, home landline.

1. Tissue 2. Handwash 3. Put some handwash om tissue, small drops of water are poured on top 4. Slowly wipe surface and bottom of phone. 5. Wipe off the soap with another tissue

Whoever is reading this everything is going to be fine. Fear not and dont panic. Be calm and focused. You will make it and overcome

soap and water will damage ur phone if it gets into the port or speaker, isopropyl alcohol works very well and it will not damage ur phone

Such video was needed but we used to clean our hands and keep surroundings neat and clean but forgot to clean our phones

If your phone has IP68 protection you're probably inclined to just run water over it using the tap, which should remove most things. Thing is though, you'll probably get water into the charging port too, so don't charge your phone before making sure the port is completely dry.

Better plug a headset when going out. That would eliminate putting your phone to your face.

Who just cleans their phones now? Been doing it for years. I just wash my S8+ with water but you got to be careful otherwise you could loose the resistance

I use the glass cleaning thingy (I don't know how it's called in english) but I used alcohol wipes until 2018 and it was just fine.

You can cover sockets with with low tack water proof tape

For the cases it just better to wash it with running water and soap.

I don't suggest soap at all.. Think it will get into the speakers and charge port... accumulate... Just use alcohol wipes or get something like alcohol to clean wounds put it in some cloth and clean phone with it way better as it evaporates and doesnt go into the phone

I was told in another video not to use soap. Since fingerprint smudges are oily, what can be used to break down the oil to make them easier to remove?

I clean my phone every end of the day with electronic wipes

I've always cleaned mine with hand sanitizer and paper towels.

UV light does not reach notches and receptacles, so it is ineffective there.

I use dettol wipe

Just use ethyl alcohol to wipe the phone. Remove the case also and wash it with soap and water. It's that simple. No need to use soapy water which may be hard to wipe off and is sticky. The heck with the oleophobic coating.

Here’s how I do it: 1. Turn off and remove case 2. Use 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes to thoroughly remove all grime and disinfect it 3. Use a clean undershirt to dry to avoid splotches (you could use a microfiber cloth but it could become saturated) 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the case 5. Once you verify everything is clean and dry, reassemble the case and turn back on

The test was also flawed because you tested the samples straight after "cleaning" (ha ha). Once the bacterial eat through the food you laid out for them they will start showing up about 30 mins later in greater numbers.
