U can also use the little x-box controller looking thing that comes with ur switch and u just slide the joysticks in and its way easier to play on tv that way

I did all the stuff you said in the video. I actually already had my switch set up with my tv, but my brother unplugged it and now I can get it to work again. I plug in the hdmi cord to the same hdmi input as I always used to have it, turn on my tv, turn on my switch, and just the switch screen lights up not the dock tv light like it did before. What do I do

I just ordered this and was wondering how to set it up for the TV. I'm going to save this to help me once I get it. I do have a few questions though, so if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. 1. If I don't want to use my TV (or for some reason I can't), can I still use this? 2. Just so I understand correctly, for using the TV I have to have it plugged into both the TV & an outlet, correct? 3. To use the TV does the device have to be close to the TV - meaning of let's say I have the device on the floor below the TV will this still work? 4. I don't have a PayPal account, so I would have to use credit card, my question is will it still be the same setup? If you are going to answer my questions please number them how I have them and I might have more later once I get this
