How to Cook Perfect Mashed Potatoes Easily

In this video I demonstrate how to cook perfect mashed potatoes easily. My method produces light, fluffy and delicious mashed spuds using a few simple tricks.

Sometimes I'm still looking for easy and delicious mashed potatoes. I think this is it, Pete. A very tasty and authentic potatoes recipe. It looks creamy and soft. Super easy with just butter and salt and with your homemade beautiful brown sauce over it. Mouth watering. Literally my favourite dish. Thanks for the wonderful recipe ❤💖

I personally prefer white potatoes 🥔 I recently made sme yummy Spanish potatoes and it was so simple to make and only used a few ingredients. 3 potatoes, pink salt, heavy cream, 1/2 stick unsalted butter, pack of Taco seasoning and lastly 4 Oz canned chilies. So good! Yours look amazing!

Definitely better than the mash potatoes I used to get at school years ago what was those canteen ladies thinking..no wonder I started taking sandwiches to school instead 😅

I use Shotcut to edit my videos Andrea, and there is a checkbox for Pitch Compensation when adjusting the speed of a particular clip. It makes for some weird sounds, but I quite like the effect 😊

Plop a dollop of English mustard into that mash as you're whisking it. You'll do the flavour a world of good. I never used a whisk. But often used to airate it with a good old wooden spoon
